So, I bought cheese tarts at west edmonton location near hudsons bay and i had a fantastic experience with a vary nice lady named Hazel she is very knowledgeable about the product, very friendly and she knows exactly what customer service is. I will definitely come back and would recommend castella to friends and family!!

So ive been a customer for almost a year , i straight up ho and pick pastries up at least twice a month . Today i went and the customer service was extremely horrible. I went to get the cheesecake filled croissants and I ordered 9 , the lady was like theres only 5 , i asked if they can make me another 4 and i said i can wait she didn’t even ask if i can wait or not but rudely said okay we will make some for you just wait on the side then the lady was we put them in paper bags , i told her and i always come and everyone is been putting them in boxes for me how am i going to take it To someone’s house in a paper bag . She made a big deal and starting calling the manager i showed her pictures of the previous times i purchased the pastries they were in boxes . I waited for the croissants to be done and i was about to leave she said that next time they will charge me 0.50 cents for the box i said its not about the 0.50 cents it’s the concept and the principal and the good customer service I’m not cheeping on0.50 cents when i just spent over 50$ for the croissants. Sorry I’m not gonna be spending money on something even if it was good when I’m being mistreated by the employees.

I took a dine in order to at 5.03 pm . They were closing at 6 and the cashier told me in can sit and eat. I was just going to stay there for like 5 minutes in their seating area and the other person told me seating is closed i’ll have to sit in mall seating arrangements. Pathetic service.When i told them i take out my food then,They were just packing it in a paper bag which could ruin it on my way back to other seating area!!
The staff were approachable and friendly. Food is to die for! Overall a 10/10. I just love it!!!

Cheese cake is horrible! Something that has been sitting in a fridge for a very long time! ? Employee was wonderful but the manager was not willing to exchange for another dessert as mine tasted awful. I wanted to give them a try as they are fairly new. I was mistaken. Shame on the manager for not stepping up and ensuring customer is happy. I will be emailing corporate on this issue.I do not recommend this place ??
