Dim sum? In a casino? Yes. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all. The menu has quite a wide variety of dishes, and they are at least comparable to other dim sum I have tried. It's nice to see an option like this at the

Still one of the best dim sum places in #YEG. This little casino-side dim sum eatery is the direct grandchild of the original Tan Tan on Jasper near the Brighton Block. It first became Noodle Noodle on 106a, then Cha for Tea on Stony Plain Road, amd even had a small location on 107 Ave and 170 st.But now, nestled in the bosom of the magnificent River Cree Casino and Conference Centre, Cha Exprsss holds its own with some of the finest dimsum and Chinese smorgasbord items, executed beautifully with great staff and careful attention to quality. One of my absolute faves. ? ❤️?

Duck noodle soup was not very good. The noodle was not fully cooked and broth had a strange aftertaste. We weren't sure what it was. Duck was okay. The rice noodle dish for the amount paid was questionable. Where are my noodles. It was probably five bites and the rest was beef and vegetable on top.

Food has always been consistently good, all the dishes seemed very authentic and tasty!
What the heck. We got to the River Cree casino at 11:37am, we walk into the casino to the restaurant. the sign in front of Cha express restaurant says 11:30am open.. we see a waiter but then he saw us and pretended to be busy and walked into the back kitchen area. We stand there for 5 more minutes and no acknowledgement . The waiter never came back out. Rude!

Trash place! The staff was rude and appeared to avoid customers. This can certainly be frustrating and ruin one's mood, especially if you were planning on gambling afterwards.

Small portions and over priced. I ordered combo B. Chicken wasn’t cooked fully. Minimal flavour. Good customer service though.

Food is great, maybe a tiny bit expensive but the food and service was great so don’t want to complain too much.
