The food at Inasal Grill Avenue is amazing. I had the solo meal Chicken Inasal & BBQ with unlimited rice and free soup, and it really reminded me of the flavors back home in the Philippines. The taste is authentic, comforting, and brings that familiar feeling of eating in a place you grew up with.
The unli rice makes it so satisfying, and the free soup is a nice extra that completes the meal. It’s affordable, filling, and very worth it.
This is definitely a place I’ll come back to, and I’ll be telling my friends about it too. If you’re craving that true Filipino taste, this spot is worth a visit.

I've ordered from them twice for pickup (July 27th and August 31st) and both times I arrived at the estimated pickup time and that's when they started preparing the order.
I don't understand the point of ordering in advance for pickup and providing an estimated pickup time if they won't bother starting to prepare the order until you physically get there. Once is a mistake, twice is just intentional.
The only redeeming thing is the food is good but extremely unhappy with their ordering system. Do better.
Won't bother ordering from here again. Don't appreciate people who waste time.

Went to this place from out of town since it had good ratings only for the service from the workers to be unwelcoming, rude, and impatient.
My father in law went up to ask for his halo halo and a take out container only for the guy to be annoyed like my in law was bugging him. When my in law asked for the container the guy basically tossed it at him and walked off.
Why run a business if you aren’t going to be kind to your customers? Even a greeting when we walked in would’ve been nice. From the moment we had walked in we got the vibe that they didn’t want to serve us.
The food was okay. Definitely better places you can visit here. Will not be back.

Inasal Grill Avenue is a warm and inviting spot where you can enjoy authentic Filipino barbecue and comfort food. The dining room is casual yet tidy with the aroma of char grilled chicken and pork skewers wafting from the kitchen. Their signature chicken inasal is smoky and tender served with garlic rice and pickled papaya and the pork belly skewers and crispy lechon kawali are equally delicious. There are plenty of other Filipino favourites like pancit noodles with vegetables, grilled bangus and crispy lumpia spring rolls. Make sure to leave room for halo halo with shaved ice and sweet beans or a slice of leche flan. Service is friendly and efficient and they are happy to explain menu items and make recommendations. This is my go to place for Filipino comfort food in downtown Edmonton and I always look forward to returning.

I just wanted to share my honest experience. The chicken wings were unfortunately quite hard. I tried to eat a few pieces because I was really hungry, but they were difficult to chew. I also ordered the halo-halo, and I'd rate it about a 4/10 it just wasn't very enjoyable in terms of taste. I mentioned the issue with the chicken wings to the staff, but no one responded or acknowledged it, which was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve the food quality and customer service. I was hesitant to eat in a Filipino restaurant because I am familiar with the food already and I am afraid that it will not meet my expectation.
But!!! This restaurant surpass my expectation and the food is delicious!
We ordered the chicken inasal, the pork bbq stick, the beef pares, lapaz batchoy and lechon kawali. All of it are delicious. We even forgot to take photos of the food.

CRAVING SATISFIED. We are from Calgary but I would count down the days to go to Edmonton again so that I can have it again. The chicken is perfectly cooked-so moist and juicy while not being undercooked at all. It’s actually amazing how they perfected it. The liempo is also a must! The pineapple juice tastes similar to Jolibee’s (but I’d easily pick the inasal chicken instead of fried chicken any day). The unli rice and chicken oil is perfection and will really take you back to the Philippines. Also you can’t beat that kind of value nowadays-you leave stuffed!
The hospitality and kindness of the owners and cooks also just makes the experience so enjoyable. I know this place will continue to gain the love and reputation it deserves. Can’t wait to take my family here and really hope they open more.
My wife was in Filipino food heaven—smiling, nodding, doing that little happy food dance—while I sat across from her eating chicken strips and fries like a 6-year-old who wandered into the wrong restaurant.
She’s over there with a plate of delicious inasal, rice, and sauces I can’t pronounce, while I’m holding a ketchup packet like it's a fine wine.
But to be fair, my chicken strips were crispy, the fries were solid, and I got to eat in peace while she zoned out in a halo-halo-fueled food trance.
Five stars for the food, six stars for the entertainment of watching my wife live her best life. Me? I’ll be over here with my “kid’s menu” meal, contemplating my life choices.
