Great place for pastries, I love the flavor variations they have for the croissants. The place is a little small but everything is so delicious and worth the money you'll spend.

Visiting family in the city and made my first stop this place. Good selection of flavours and yummy pastries. The cafe space is open and clean and looks like a good place to catch up with friends or to work remotely.

We got the 4 croissants for $18 dollar deal and a dark mocha on the side. The salted egg yolk croissant was really good, a nice balance of sweet and salty.

Discovering Destinations

When in Edmonton this is a great place to go and get a delicious European style croissant. Angie was the one to serve me and did so with such care. She asked where I was from and we even shared previous travel destinations. Very friendly service !Coming from Montreal where there are so many French bakeries around the competition is very fierce. That said Choccorant has a great recipe, and they seem to be doing quite well for themselves. I ordered a few boxes of croissants for a work event, and I even had a few myself during my stay. They are very delicious and crunchy and I think Edmonton is very lucky to have them make such a good version of the croissant.I would have hoped the sandwich would have been made with more care and finesse (the spreading of the cranberries and the generosity of the Brie and turkey. Alas, it’s all good.Parking: It appears there is a 10 or 15 minute parking voucher you can get from the machine which is great if you’re only going to be ordering something in and out. Otherwise, if you’re staying longer, you can pay for the appropriate time at the machine.

I absolutely love this place, the staff are ready to serve the moment you walk in and everyone I've met is so friendly and detailed in their work. I've had the caramel toffee and the ube Coconut croissants so far and both are phenomenal with a cup of coffee ? I come for the croissants and stay for the

I try to visit whenever I'm in the area early in the morning. I love their croissants, so buttery and flaky but it's best when served warm (especially their almond and salted-egg croissants). I felt like their matcha and ube croissants could have more filling inside for the flavour to stand out. As for their cakes, I highly recommend the earl grey opera, the texture of the cake is soft but you get some crunchy bits in the filling (not sure what it is) but it's so good! I also tried the raspberry yuzu but I found it to be just okay, not enough yuzu flavour in my opinion.

Spent $50 + tip on croissants with 2 large boxes and one small box, paid and then came back asked for a bag as it was slippery outside and my car was down the block as there is literally no parking spots open over on this street. The lady said it would be 75 cent if I want a bag, outrageous!!! I drove 40 minutes into town for this to surprise my work colleges out near Gibbons for holidays. Won’t be doing that again, also they were out of most croissants by 3pm so not much to pick from, add onto the parking fee just to buy from here, not again. Food was good that’s why I came so I’ll be back but will bring own bag and no more tipping here for me, customer service was terrible, also learn to clean the sidewalk in front of the store in winter!

I arrived at 9:15, and ordered butter almond croissant (my all-time favorite) + drip coffee to stay. The coffee is so good, and the croissant is just the best. I love my croissant flaky! And because I enjoyed it so much, I decided to get more to go. I love all the flavors that I ordered, but if I have to rank them, (1) ube coconut, maybe because I’m from PH (2) blackberry or blueberry cheesecake, it’s a new flavor (3) salted egg yolk, it’s so on point and reminds me of how famous this flavor is in Singapore (4) strawberry milk.I find it dangerous that this cafe is just a 10-minute walk from home. I now know where to go when I’m craving for croissants. Next time, I’ll come at a later time so that I can try more other flavors.

Had such a lovely visit here this morning with my husband. We tried the s'more and chocolat croissants with a cappuccino and latte. Both croissants were delicious, and not overly sweet - and drinks were delicious as well.It was a great vibe and cute space and staff were very friendly and polite. Will definitely be going back here for some sweet treats again in future. They also have lots of nut-free and gluten-free options available.

I had the pleasure of sampling Choccorant's croissants and cakes, including the Biscoff cake, and they truly stand out! The croissants exhibit an impeccable flakiness and a delightful buttery richness. The Biscoff cake, in particular, was nothing short of amazing, providing a heavenly experience with each decadent bite. Choccorant's unwavering commitment to quality is evident, making it a go-to destination for those seeking an exquisite pastry experience. I highly recommend Choccorant for anyone looking to indulge in exceptional treats.

This is a late post. Visited during the pandemic because of good reviews. The croissants tasted ok, but service left much to desire. The cashier was short with me when I had to take some time choosing (there was no line up), and when I asked if I could take a postcard (did not realize they were for fundraising), she snapped and said “ya, you have to pay!” The cake sampler was nothing special and presentation was sloppy. There are so many other places on 124st I’d rather spend my money like Duchess and Tiramisu Cafe. Will not go back.
