After enjoying the hockey game, I came here to enjoy some food and drinks, and after being served one “ whiskey smash “ - sub Don Julio - I was refused serviced indirectly - which left me embarrassed and confused. - I was talking to 3 other gentlemen at the bar and they exclaimed that I was being cut off after my date explained to me that they were piloting my service. - I had no signs of being intoxicated and the ignorance from the service staff was unexplained. After being completely ignored by staff, we left. - this was not the end of my evening I expected and will influence my decision to return back to this location ; if you’re looking for judgmental, dismissive and rude staff, this is the place for you.

We were guests of the Sandman Signature, to attend a work related conference. So, we visited Chop Steakhouse in Edmonton and overall had a great experience. The steak, wings, and mashed potatoes were all excellent, flavourful and cooked perfectly. The complimentary bread was a nice touch, and our server was attentive and spot on throughout the evening.
One note of feedback: we were surprised to receive chili peppers with the steak instead of the bell8 peppers we were expecting. For someone who is adverse to spicy foods, a spoonful of hot peppers was quite unpleasant. It would be helpful if the menu clarified this or if the server mentioned it ahead of time.

Had a fantastic dinner at one of the best CHOP locations in downtown Edmonton. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our server, Amal, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made sure our special requests were taken care of with care. We ordered steak and shrimp with both baked and mashed potatoes—asked for extra seasoning, and the kitchen delivered flawlessly!
Huge thanks to Head Chef Bharat for making the evening extra special. The food was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Honestly, I’m not a big fan of the other CHOP locations in Edmonton, but this one stands out by far.
We’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you again to Amal and Bharat—your hospitality and service were truly amazing. Keep up the great work!

Had dinner at the chop for my birthday and it was a great experience! The hostess was very welcoming and kind. Our server was amazing and accommodating to all our needs. I got the butchers board and everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! Highly recommend!

This is my go to spot for a night out with friends. The bar top is such a chill spot and bartenders are always lovely. My friends and I had Nav as our bartender and he was awesome! He offered great drinks for us and the steak bites are to die for. I love it here!!
