Tonight I had a wonderful experience visiting Chop, Downtown. The food was exceptional; the highlights for me being the steak bites, oven roasted chicken, and the toffee ice cream. Our server, Amal, who was incredibly kind and genuine, had great recommendations and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. There were some small errors in our meal which was promptly corrected by Amal and the manager, Julie. We were offered two free desserts after which was very thoughtful! Julie was also fabulous and checked-in on us a few times. It’s very refreshing to be met with fantastic customer service through and through. Thank you Chop! I am very full and happy.

Ya know, in a world of dine in as well as Uber, skip and doordash, it's not unreasonable that sometimes, things are gonna go wrong with your order. What sets restaurants and businesses apart is how they respond. Chop steakhouse and bar, downtown Edmonton edition has gone above and beyond. Two weeks ago, I ordered their incredibly delicious prime rib. And was disappointed. Items missing, quality poor. An unusual event from Chop. But they stepped up. And my next meal from them, that I enjoyed today was not only perfect, but on the house. A special thank you to managers Jessica and Taylor not only for allowing me to feel heard, but for going above and beyond to make things right. 10/10. Completely justified being my favorite restaurant

Shared the Bone in Rib eye for 2 this was an amazing meal absolutely enough for two, plus some to take home. Drinks were superb and the staffs attention to reservation details made the night even more special.

The food was incredible, and for a very fair price. Loved the steak and lobster. The table for us was set right by the door, which made the experience very drafty and chilly. The servers were also very absent.

I was really happy I chose Chop for dinner. Food was good and came out fast considering how busy it was. Clearly super focused on customer experience and it paid off. We were checked in on by various staff enough times without it being overwhelming and the layout of the dining room gives it a smaller and intimate restaurant feel. Our server Lola was great. Despite a packed restaurant she didn't appear overwhelmed or too busy and ensured to take her time while serving us. She was knowledgeable about the food and drinks which was very helpful. Would definitely visit again for special occasions as they made the birthday we were celebrating feel very special.

My go to place for ribeye and is reasonably priced than other steakhouse.
Amazingly attentive servers, a good sized bone-in ribeye that rivals any other restaurant in the city for quality and cooking and an excellent whiskey sour. Can't wait to come back soon :)

We booked an8 person reservation for a 50th bday. Without specifically asking, CHOP gave us the upstairs secluded room. It was so lovely to hear each other. Our sever was thorough and nobody had an error all night. Two of us bought GC in the Pre Christmas sale but had small issues cashing them in, but the team found creative ways to cash them out and get us out quickly. Thank you for a lovely night! Also... I “tip my hat to you!” IYKYK!!

Was there for New Year’s Eve and the meal was so fantastic. First time eating at a Chop steakhouse and didn’t disappoint. The bread pudding dessert special was sooooo good.

We had a party of eight and Malcolm put so many extra special touches to it. He just had that way about him to make everyone feel even more welcomed. He helped take care of everyone at the table individually It was worth the 5 Hour drive all because of Malcolm We will send so many people to your restaurant knowing Malcom will always have that extra touch to the guest experience.
