The experience itself was good. We usually take my dad here for his January Birthday. Food was great, though one of the steaks wasn't great, the rest was excellent. What frustrated me was that i had given a paragraph of instructions regarding our party that either did not get through, or was not read. We had two toddlers. I requested a high chair plus booster seat and a table for 6 adult's plus the kids. None of that was ready. The waitress was scrabbling around, trying to get in our requests and if my husband had of come we would have been short a chair too. Why does the form ask for specifics if its not used or read? Please get this straightened out for your future guests.

The service quality was sporadic, timing was off when she did show up. Seemed a little disorganized, lots just standing around or walking over each other, drinks are empty and you're just sitting there wondering. Nice waitress though good at making hot air but insincerity is palpable. Probably won't go back. Food was mediocre and not competitive with the keg though I assumed they would be. Have some work to do. Each to their own.

Food and experience was good. We sat at a booth and I found it really tight as I am a larger person. The server was younger and some of the sayings and words used are something he would discuss with his 20 year old friends, not for a group of guest over 60 years of age. Like "snagging" those plates from the table??

Steak and Lobster was absolutely on point yesterday!! All appetizers and main were simply delicious! Service with Sophie was outstanding!! Thanks for a great meal and night out with the family!

we added chicken to our cesar salads... we got like 1/3rd of a chicken breast. disappointing. the rest of the meal was lovely.

I recently ordered the Butcher’s Board, which came with 13 oz smoked Albertan ribeye ribs, an 11 oz centre-cut New York strip, and a 7 oz filet mignon — and wow, what an experience! Each cut was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. The filet was tender, the New York steak was perfectly cooked, and the smoked ribs had incredible depth and aroma.

My smoke ribeye initially came out medium rare, and while they looked great, it wasn’t quite my preference. When I mentioned it, the manager immediately came over with a sincere apology and offered to remake the entire dish. I told them it only needed a little more cooking, and they handled the request professionally, kindly, and without hesitation.

What truly impressed me was the level of service — they didn’t just fix the issue; they went above and beyond by offering a small perk to make sure we felt valued and encouraged to return. That kind of hospitality is rare and genuinely appreciated.

By the time the ribs came back, they were exactly how I wanted them, and the whole meal was fantastic from start to finish. I honestly couldn’t complain — great food, great service, great atmosphere.

Came in the other night had a great dinner the service by Julia B was amazing. She recommended the pink lemonade and now it’s my new favourite. She knew everything she was talking about which made it very helpful for us when deciding but also difficult because she made everything sound so good. She’s amazing. I believe it was the manger who came over and gave us a little small dish from the chef and it was delicious. Everything came out perfect. I highly recommended the peppercorn sauce with your steak! Thank you Julia for an amazing experience and the rest of the staff and special thanks to the chef everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. We will definitely be back again!

We had an unforgettable experience at Chop Steakhouse & Bar. The service was exceptional — our server, Ella, was absolutely wonderful. We ordered two different steaks, both cooked perfectly, flavorful, and truly impressive.

But the real star of the night was the crème brûlée. I’ve tried this dessert at French restaurants before, but nothing comes close to the one at Chop. The quality was outstanding — you could actually see the tiny specks of real vanilla in the custard, and that alone tells you how high-end it is. You have to order it to understand what I mean.

Overall, we had one of our best nights here and left with such a great memory. A big thank-you to the manager, Sarah, for running such a wonderful team, and to everyone at Chop for the outstanding service and excellent food.

Walked into Chop Steakhouse & Bar and instantly felt like I leveled up. Mood lighting? Check. Sleek booths? Check. That perfect hum of grown-up conversation without needing earplugs? Chef’s kiss. It’s giving “I’ve got my life together” energy.
The food? Straight-up obsessed.
Those mussels came out steaming in a garlic-white-wine situation so good I almost cried. Bread on the side? Grilled, buttery, gone in 60 seconds. Then the New York strip (medium-rare, because we’re not monsters) showed up: seared crust, pink center, seasoned like it had a PhD in flavor. Truffle fries and creamed spinach rounded it out—honestly, I’d frame the plate if I could.
Service was the one plot twist. Our server was an absolute gem—warm, funny, knew the menu like the back of her hand. But then… radio silence. Water glasses hitting E, 15-minute check chase, had to do the awkward “raise one eyebrow at the host” move. Not tragic, just off-beat.
Verdict: The food is worth the Uber surcharge alone. I’m already plotting my return (and maybe wearing a louder shirt so they spot me faster). Tighten up the service rhythm, Chop, and you’ll have me in here like it’s my second job.
TL;DR – 10/10 would steak again. 🥩✨

We really enjoyed our visit! The steaks were delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet — which is very important for my wife and me, as we like not only to enjoy good food but also to relax. The staff were friendly and polite, and both the wine and beer we ordered were of great quality. We'll definitely be coming back! 🍷🥩🍺
