Very small asian restaurant inside Starlite casino in WEM if you get a craving for some kung pao chicken or potstickers or noodle soup. Food is actually quite good with the sauces being excellent. They even use real peanuts in the kung pao . You get a % off if you have a casino card.

Horrible food. The chicken is stale and almost rotten what they serve in their pad thai. When you go to complain the chef he acts as if he is Gods gift to mankind.

Poor service for mediocre dry rice. The chef belittled us and yelled at us for wanting to switch our meal before they started cooking. The menu wasnt labeled on whether or not the kung pao chicken had rice or noodles. I politely asked to switch to noodles and then the chef claimed the casino couldnt afford to make another meal for me. After we agreed to just stick with the meal, he came back to mock us even more. Lazy and unprofessional.

This was a great space to get away from the over stimulation of the casino and get a bite to eat. Despite being next to the slots it was rather quiet. The staff were polite and it was cool to be able to see my meal prepared from my seat. I had the chow mein with extra vegetables and it was the freshest and healthiest I have ever had. Delicious

You're going to have to work to find this one but depending on your food desires it might be worth it. Imbedded deep in the back of the newly renovated Starlight Casino - head to the poker room and take a sharp right at the slots. It's a noodle house with dine in and take out options. Traditionally Chinese -- this place features a range of meals from soups to chow mein with a kiss of Thai options for spice. The decor is warm, blonde woods with splashes of Asian colour. Nicely done and relatively quiet given that it's in the middle of a Casino! I ordered the BBQ Pork wonton soup and watched as it was prepared in the open kitchen. Not sure about you but I like being able to see where my food is prepared -- makes me feel safer. The soup is not inexpensive at $12 but it's a good size bowl and filling. The broth itself is a bit bland but the noodles and BBQ pork were tasty. Satisfying and served with a smile. I'd give the place a try if you're in the mall or in the casino. Not sure I'd make a special trip here but it's a good alternative to some of the mall offerings and hey -- it's not a buffet! You'll save 10% if you have a Casino card which is free at the front desk. The casino boasts three other restaurants- Match, Atlas and of course a buffet. I'll try them all eventually. Stay tuned!

Oooh yum! Great to have a fast food option in the casino. With Match across the hall and Atlas upstairs, starlight Casino has added something in between. The decor is all new, of course, but I like the style used to make Chow stand out with it's own branding and vibe happening within the space. I wish I could have sat in as they have a lot of seating available and it's a nice bright space. Service was friendly and fast. I got the chicken and prawn pad thai to go. It was full of meat which was a pleasant surprise.

I went to Chow for dinner around 8PM on a weeknight a few weeks after they opened. It's located towards the back in Starlight Casino. It was quiet with no one in the seating area but a few more people came during our stay, although I think they were Casino staff. We went to the counter to order and they gave us a number stand. The challenge with paying first is you don't know how the service will be and how much to tip. With the Player's card, you get 10% off the food. We sat in the half booth and half seat table close to a TV. It took about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. I ordered the potstickers and chicken chow mein ($5 and $12 before discount). The potstickers were good with ample pork filling inside but can't really go wrong with the. The noodles were ok, and portion size decent as I couldn't finish it along with the dumplings. They gave me a nice take out bowl with Chow sticker on the lid. I will go back and try something else next time I'm in the mood for Chinese food.
