Sunday Buffet 3/1/26 presentation was not enticing. Lightning on food not enough. Decided to order Pancit, Bangsilog and Salad with Cajun Chic. The Pancit was serve. It was good. Then the salad forget the cajun chicken but servein the end. and Bangsilog bangus not marinated as per the menu with cold fried rice. Staff were nice though. It was our first as recommended by our friends but i was disappointed. I decided not to take the Bangsilog. Then order Halo Halo. Halo halo is missing the banana and the leche flan and the ube ice cream as per the picture in the menu. Were not charge on the halo halo anyways. But overall experience not so great.

Our guests couldn't get over how good the foods were. The food was excellent, and the staff were courteous, efficient, and professional. We would highly recommend ChowKeni for any event! Thank you 😊
Unreliable and expensive.
I ordered miki-bihon in westend Chowkeni for office Christmas party. The pick up time was 11 o’clock, the cook just came in at 11 o’clock . We had to wait for 40 min, not happy. Not worth the price too I oredered X-Large but the ingredients is for small size.

Support & love Filipino restaurants. However the consistency of the taste of the food and how the food is being served is vital. Everytime we ordered same food here like sisig, either good portion with lots of onions than meat or a better portion with too salty. Hit & missed. Tonight we can’t finish the salty sisig.

Just had a dinner at this place. Well... worst experience during last few month. First dish - steam bans with pork - came cold inside. Probably frozen product and they didnt heat it up long enough. We asked to heat it up better.
Than 2nd dish was brought, but we couldn't start eating because there were no cutleries on the table. We had to ask for cutlery, had to ask for water, had to ask for bowls for kids. Like we waited for order to be cooked for about 10 min and in other places we would be already given all of that while we waited. But not like this in Chowkeni...
2nd dish - beef wonton noodle soup - had shrimps in the wontons. So if you have allergy better ask about ingredients, cause it wasnt in the description of the dish. And strong fishy smell. We asked where is the beef, they said it is in wontons. Well, it was anything but beef in wontons... noodles looked like cheap instant noodles.
3d dish was discribed as fried crispy pork belly with slices of tomato and cucumber on a side. Well, just 2 leaves of lettuce in our case. We called for chef, asked why the dishes are different from the description... he said they will cook it more carefully now. I asked dont put anything fishy there.
They cooked again. Still fishy something at the soup. Fried pork belly extremely fat, but added 2 slices of tomato and 4 slices of pickles... Not to mention that originally I asked for 2 orders of steamed buns but they served only 1...
So I dont know... we are not picky, we usually dont require special attention, but in this case it was worst food and service in the same time...

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday and had the pleasure of having Chowkeni Restaurant handle the food and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, their service was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive to detail. Beyond the food, the staff were efficient, courteous, and made sure everything ran smoothly so I could simply enjoy the evening. Thank you Chowkeni Restaurant for helping make my milestone birthday unforgettable. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

For what you pay for for takeout, very minimal.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Even though the restaurant was very busy, the staff worked hard to serve everyone and still delivered great quality food. You can really tell they care about what they serve and about their customers. The food was fresh, flavorful, and worth the wait. Great job to the whole team for keeping up the good service even during a rush!

We almost wait for an hour in Calgary trail branch. The service is not good. We order only 2 meals and it take an hour to serve! The buchi we ordered are raw, we can’t even eat and the pancit with our order are so salty. It’s not recommended! It’s our first time and we are very disappointed. We never come back here!

Very slow service, this is the first and last, won't be coming back to this restaurant. Not a pleasant experience at all. The price is also quite expensive compares to other filipino restaurants. Manila grill or cebuchon is way better. Totally not recommended!
