Chowkeni restaurant catered my son’s birthday and absolutely nailed it! Delicious food, timely service, and friendly staff made the day stress-free and memorable . Highly recommended for all any celebrations.

Chowkeni catered a wedding for us amd the food was amazing. the staff was also incredible and very accommodating and polite. The services was a huge part of the success for the entire event.

We visited today, and learned that they don’t serve their signature siomai chao pan fried rice anymore. I am pregnant and been craving for that specifically. It was also disappointing that the few items we are trying to order are not available like sizzling sisig, halo-halo, and bbq. 🫤

Had come in for their breakfast buffet. Good selections!
The public Water jug was filled with what it look like someone backwashed with their mouth but the Server was very nice enough to serve us with new and cold water. She made sure our food was good and at the end of our meal she had courteously asked if the food was cold, which we found was warm.
Since the restaurant was connected to the hotel, their washroom was shared. It was pretty gross in there and seems like it was not maintained. Tons of garbage on the floor and smelled very off
Over all experience was nice since we were one of the first people in the restaurant so it was quiet. Service is good props to the Ate that was serving us, would come back again

Chowkeni recently catered an event I attended, and while I really appreciated the effort and the nice setup they created, I feel there are areas that could be improved. At the entrance, they had a table with kakanin, which I was so excited about! I tried the puto, kutsinta, and leche puto. Unfortunately, the textures and flavors didn’t quite hit the mark for me — the leche puto was overly sweet and a bit dense instead of light and fluffy. For dinner, the buffet presentation looked inviting, but the flavors didn’t come through as much as I hoped. The beef with mushroom lacked seasoning and tasted like it may have been overcooked, affecting the texture. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside but could benefit from more seasoning or brining for flavor inside. The chopsuey was overcooked, and the fish fillet, while okay, had a sauce that tasted more like ketchup than a balanced savory flavor. The standout for me was the fish fillet, which was decent, but overall, the dishes could use more seasoning, balance, and attention to texture. I’m sharing this as constructive feedback because I know many people are excited to see Filipino food showcased at events. With a few adjustments, Chowkeni has the potential to make a much stronger impression.

Restaurant was busy at 9:18 pm when I walked in after a 12 hour shift. Logical place beside the hotel to go. They close at 10. Server says she isn't doing to-go orders so I left. I saw on the website they had 40 mins left. Go back in at 9:28, she says no to-go orders.
Anyways, at 9:28 I was not able to get food from this place after a really long day with nothing else around. Place was packed with more than 30 mins before closing and they couldn't accommodate for even a to go order. Manager was about going home, not about customer service.

The place is a dump. The food was overpriced and awful. The seats were damaged and we picked where to sit on the fact that the table wasn't as visibly dirty like the others.
