I always used to see this store driving by and never got the chance to really try it out until today and it honestly might be a hidden gem…. As soon as I walked in the people were SOOOO welcoming and recommended me what to get which made it so much easier for me since I’m super indecisive lol. I ended up getting their 6 pieces half and half and tried their snow cheese with sweet and hot and i kid you not i have NEVER experienced this type of food in my life… it was so unique to the tastebuds and the chicken was fresh as if they just cut it right now… Turns out they genuinely never freeze their Chicken… The flavours were outta this world especially the Snow Cheese one. I will definitely be coming back here with my kids.

Great food, chicken tenders especially. Usually, fried food has a greasy aftertaste, but I did not experience that with the chicken here, which was very light. Will be returning soon.

First time trying this place out. As I looked at their menu the 6 pcs is $16.90 crispy, and if you add flavour to it they charge an extra $2. I asked the cashier if the 6 piece crispy had any flavour to it and she said no. 🤔 so I responded to her by saying if they sell flavourless fried chicken and she said yes. Who does that? So I asked for salt and pepper flavour and spicy and sweet. For adding flavour I was charged more. When I was ready to pay she then tried charging me $2 extra for just asking for dark meat. No where on their menu do they state that there’s an extra charge for that. Now kfc and Mary brown charge extra if you request just white meat but those pieces are larger so I understand the up charge. I felt like I was being cheated, when I first ordered and was ready to pay it was $2 less but when I had questions and the ordered changed in flavours all of a sudden I was being charged an extra $2. I asked why the up charge then she informed me because I was just taking dark meat which are much smaller then the white meat. I looked at her and said no way and I began walking out until she told me to hold on and she and her boss came out and waived it. I told her boss”the owner” that I was going to walk away and never come back because I felt they tried cheating me out out of more money. He apologized and said he wouldn’t charge me that and in return I told him that no where on his menu did it state there is an up charge for that. I also told him that I felt that was ripping off his customers and that was one way he wouldn’t get repeat customers. Now the wait, 15 to 20 minute wait for a 6 pcs chicken and they were having some sort of promotion which was pretty entertaining. The food, when I first got it I was filled with anticipation because I told him it was my first time there and he responded by saying “ you’re going to love it”. He gave me two small side sauces which he said they were extra sauces. I was excited to try their chicken, when I got home we set ourselves up for a great meal and a great movie to watch. Now time to open the box it came in……..we can not express how disappointed we were when we opened our box and found just fried flavourless crispy chicken. We ordered sweet n spicy for 3 pieces and salt n pepper for the other 3. Absolutely no flavour and all we were given were two tiny little containers with a spicy sauce in it. We paid for what we thought they would mix the sweet n spicy on the 3 pieces and the salt n pepper on the other 3 throughout. What a disappointment, was hoping this small place would give KFC and Mary Browns a run for their money but 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎. Unflavoured batter 🤢🤮. Stick to KFC or Mary Browns people their chicken has much better flavour in their batter then this so called “Chicken spot” fast food business.

The flavouring was on point!! It was PACKED with flavour!! We had the 10 (Sweet & Hot) wings and the Gochujang burger. The owner was polite and let us sample the sauce for wings before ordering.

Mohammad is such a life saver! Other places refused us as it was already late but when we called the place they even offered to cook us rice. He is so accommodating and even let us try other flavours which are really good. The best chicken wings we had so far! Their cajun and lemon pepper fries are delicious too. Seasoning is perfectly balanced (I’m obsessed) cause I hate my fries being showered with too much powder lol. We’ll definitely come back once we get to Edmonton again.

Note: Food was so good that I forgot to take a picture so here is the after. LOL
