Some of the food felt a little underwhelming but wine pairings were spectacular ??

Cute hole in the wall south of Whyte. Great atmosphere, amazing sharable small plates (get the Tartar), and a good selection of wines by the glass. The owner curates an excellent selection of rotating wine options, including a few special bottles available by the glass that weren't on the menu. Also, my girlfriend is celiac and they were perfect at accommodating her allergy. Great gluten free options.
We will be back!!

I went Tuesday evening for the first time. From start to finish this was the best dining experience I've had in Edmonton this year. Started with a great natural Rosé from Austria. For food, chef choice charcuterie (the pastrami bacon I'm still dreaming of), Hassleback Potato's and Short Rib. Every dish was well put together, balanced, hit ever note and were great portion sizes. Chef then sent out a small dessert taster on the house.

I also want to highlight the incredible service we received from Josh, it was refreshing to be reminded of what great service is. He was attentive but didn't float over you, filled your glasses, had recommendations and knew the food and drink menu very well. This place is a hidden gem and I'm going to tell everyone about it!

Very cute micro bar just off whyte ave. The atmosphere was very intimate- very 20s club vibes. Service was amazing. Our waiter was so attentive to detail, and had very thorough knowledge of the menu. Food was fabulous- best beef tartar I’ve had in the city. Bar tender/owner was lovely as well, and personalized a cocktail for us to try. A really cozy, intimate and positive experience. We will be coming back again!

I visited this place for a late dinner after a play, and I'm so glad I did. It’s a hidden gem tucked just behind Shoppers on Whyte. If you’re looking for a cozy and intimate place to dine, this is it. The space is quite small, with only a few tables and bar seats, so reservations are recommended. I tried the Devils on Horseback—prosciutto-wrapped walnuts, brie, dates, thyme, and honey—and it was heavenly. It’s amazing how such a small bite can deliver such a burst of flavors and textures. This dish alone will bring me back to Coterie. I also had the recommended main course, which was excellent, with a nice touch from the pistachio. The dish comes with bread and salad. They offer a great selection of wine and cocktails; I enjoyed a glass of red wine that paired perfectly with the meal. The service was flawless, and Corbin was very helpful and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back.

My partner and I visited Coterie last night for my birthday. We recently moved to Edmonton from Vancouver and were looking for somewhere special to celebrate... and our standards are high. ? After browsing nearly every restaurant in Edmonton online and comparing menus, we chose Coterie - SO glad we did. The service was flawless and we really enjoyed getting to know Corbin as we enjoyed our delicious meal. The setting was small but cozy and beautiful, only 5-6 tables in the whole place which we loved. The oysters reminded us of home and the brie and clams were an absolute highlight. Edmontons food and restaurant scene is levelling up thanks to establishments like Coterie Micro Restaurant and Bar. We will absolutely be back!! Thanks for having us!

After reading positive reviews about this being a great date spot I was excited to check it out with my honey. I am sad to say I went and just had bad luck! The place is extremely small; there was a table of 2 next to us & the only other table was a table of 6 and they were so loud and drunk and totally ruined the date night vibe for me. It got to the point where I was quite irritated with how loud they were being. It definitely ruined the vibe for us. Not the restaurants fault at all, I just don’t think big parties like that should go to a small restaurant and be so loud. The food was great. Our server was lovely and helpful! I think maybe one day we will be back but I’m unsure. The dates were amazing & so was the build your own cheese and meat board.

This was our first stop of the night and it was the highlight! Our server gave some tasty recommendations. We had some drinks and shared a couple of dishes. The standout was the mussels! (Also, the AC was perfect for this heatwave !!)

Corbin (sp?) and Trevor served one of the most memorable dining experiences possible. Incredibly attentive to the mood of our party, and accommodating to our special requests. One of the best dining experiences I've had in recent memory.

The quality of the food was disappointing for how expensive the menu was. Wine choices were limited and I found our server lacked knowledge of the wines they were serving which was surprising with how few wines were offered.
