Dropped by serendipitously for a Grey Cup drink or two but given the volume of traffic (basically all Uber Eats for the two hours I was there), I expect this establishment to close within six months (but likely sooner given the fate of other Indian owned or Indian themed dining establishments in the core).
Absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was delicious, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you get. I love Daawat Restaurant. I’ve tried a lot of their food, and everything has been amazing. But the chicken biryani stands out — one of the best I’ve had, and it’s only $10! The place looks fancy, the service is top-notch, and it holds special memories for me.
