I honestly find it hard to believe that such a well-known brand like Dagu could deliver such a terrible experience. The service was extremely poor. When you walk into the restaurant, no one acknowledges you at all—even after standing at the entrance for over five minutes, nobody came to greet or seat me, despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty. The staff completely ignored my presence, and I had to go to the counter to place my order myself. They only brought me water after I had already ordered. I ordered a bowl of rice noodles and a drink. It’s hard to imagine that the drink took nearly 40 minutes to be made and served, by which time I had almost finished my noodles. There were only two staff members working, and both were extremely cold and indifferent. The food was decent, but unless you enjoy indifferent service or are simply curious to experience this brand, I would not recommend this place to others.

I Had the A4 Beef soup it was super bland and it tasted like the broth had a lot of impurities. It honestly smelled and tasted scummy.

I ordered their delivery yesterday — I believe it was the sour and spicy flavored rice noodle soup with pulled beef. I only managed to eat about one-third of it because it was extremely salty. Even after stopping, I kept drinking water but the discomfort wouldn’t go away. My throat felt very dry and painful, and the feeling lasted throughout the night. I ended up drinking a lot of water and eating throat lozenges just to try to make it more bearable because it was impossible to fall asleep.
When I woke up today, I had a headache and a runny nose. It honestly felt like they dumped an excessive amount of MSG into the soup. Maybe try tasting the food before sending it out? The bubble tea was actually pretty good, but the food itself was really disappointing and hard to eat.

The staff was rude to us the whole entire experience. We came in for boba and sat down for around 7 minutes before we were kicked out. Mind you it was 8:40pm when he told us they were closed.

The food is so good here and great value. Soup and meat skewers are the best combo!

Excellent noodle soup bowls. Could use a bit more veggies in the soup. Excellent service and quick!

I visited after seeing the new advertisement for their AYCE buffet, which is only running for a limited time. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The food quality was below average bland, not fresh, and overall not enjoyable. The chicken appetizers were especially bad, with most pieces consisting of bones and cartilage rather than meat. The service was extremely slow, even though there were enough staff members and only a few customers. This was surprising since it was a Friday evening, and I expected the place to be busier given the buffet promotion. Because the service was so slow, I ended up feeling full just from waiting for the food to arrive. For the price they are charging, I expected much better quality and service. Unfortunately, this was not a worthwhile experience, and I would not recommend it.

Disappointed and Left hungry
We visited this restaurant with high hopes of enjoying their well-known meat skewers. With just 30 minutes left until closing, we didn’t expect a full-course meal but were drawn in by their advertised skewer deal $1 per skewer which we thought was perfect for a quick bite.
My mom placed an order for 50 skewers, though unfortunately, there was some confusion. She mentioned we were here for the skewer deal but didn’t specify the types of skewers. Meanwhile, my dad and I were outside paying for parking. By the time we returned, the order was already in.
We also ordered a noodle dish to go along with it. After sitting and waiting for over 30 minutes, none of the skewers had arrived. With the restaurant nearing closing time and no updates from the staff, we eventually left—still hungry and feeling quite dissatisfied.
While I do think the service could have been more attentive, especially with communication and checking on our food, I also acknowledge that our own order could have been made more clearly.
Overall, we were really looking forward to a simple, fulfilling skewer meal but ended up leaving empty-handed. Hopefully, others have better luck, but for us, the experience missed the mark.

Great rice noodle soups, comes with family all the time
We went for Dagu after watching the first two periods of the Oilers game. They had a small TV where we could continue watching while enjoying good food that's more worth it than the overpriced food.
I got the tomato crossing the bridge noodles and added beef slices instead of the chicken. We also got the $1 Skewer special (Tuesdays only, limit 10 per person). The skewers are pretty good, they are deep fried instead of barbecued and we got spicy chili powder and chili sauce on the side. It's nice to have unlimited rice noodle refills. The soup flavor was good, but not too salty.

Dagu Rice Noodle Review:
Dagu Rice Noodle offers a modern, inviting atmosphere that blends traditional flavors with contemporary vibes. Upon entering, the clean, minimalist decor sets a relaxed tone, with an emphasis on sleek design and a comfortable dining experience.
Food:
The rice noodles, a standout item, are perfectly cooked—chewy yet tender, absorbing the rich, flavorful broths and sauces they come with. You can customize your bowl with a variety of toppings, ranging from savory meats to fresh vegetables. The dishes strike a nice balance between boldness and subtlety, making for a satisfying meal without overwhelming the palate.
For those with a sweet tooth, the bubble tea selection is a treat. It’s well-executed, with a variety of flavors and smooth textures that complement the noodles without overshadowing them. The boba pearls are chewy and fresh, adding that signature touch.
Overall, Dagu Rice Noodle is a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy authentic rice noodle dishes and refreshing bubble tea in a modern setting.
Had a quick stop here for Boba and had a lovely experience. Kandy really went the extra mile which I am so grateful for!
Delicious!!! Soup was awesome. The meats tender. Tofu tasty. The sides perfectly warm. Portions really good. Staff super kind.
