Watery/weak black coffee (Medium Americano). I always get black coffee around campus and it was a bit disappointing this time that I tried one at the daily grind. I’ve seen a similar review like this one so I’m glad someone else has noticed it too.

I'm writing a review because my girlfriend with anxiety ordered Decaf coffee, but unfortunately, she received regular caffeinated coffee. Due to the baristas' lack of attention, she had a terrible panic attack. Yes, mistakes do happen. However, mistakes have severe consequences for her. Please use this as an opportunity to retrain the staff to quadruple-check to see if they are serving decaffeinated coffee when a customer orders decaffeinated coffee.

Brewed coffee is great, but please don't get their espresso-based beverages. Their espresso-based beverages, including their americano (so don't blame the dairy!), have given me diarrhea so many times.
Expensive even for campus standards. I'd rather seem them use proper locally roasted coffee beans than organic and/or fair trade ones that are mediocre. Student employees can be rude sometimes, and barista quality of course, is mediocre at best. Treats and goodies are overpriced and of poor quality. Appreciate the stamp card program but I never really go there unless it's the only place still open (Daily Grind has longer opening hours than other coffee places on campus, especially on weekends). They have the potential to get things right, but are currently getting everything wrong: is the Daily Grind a microcosm of the UASU?

Asked for a hot chocolate and watched the barista pour chocolate milk from a 2L jug into a cup and steam it. Could have just bought a 2L jug of chocolate milk from the grocery store for the same price. Really disappointing experience.

Pretty good place on campus with reasonable prices, but they need to brew their drip coffee with about 1.5x the amount of ground coffee that they do currently. Every roast is quite weak and “watery” in comparison to other drip coffees on campus. On the positive side it’s always steaming hot. Please brew all your coffees just 25-50% stronger and we will all be happy!

I love coming here for coffee and a sweet treat. I like their varieties in drip coffee. I haven't any espresso based drinks so I cannot speak to that. Their scones are big and delicious. The staff are always friendly! I like coming here instead of going to tim's or starbucks since I am supporting the student union.
