Love this DQ but drive through asks for tips. Crazy
I stopped going to Subway because they started asking for tips. Had been a while since I had been to a DQ, but I'll never go to one again since they're asking for tips as well. Call me old fashioned, but fast food places asking for tips just don't sit right with me.

Extremely disappointed in strawberry cheese cake, cake.
A few pieces of so called cheesecake on top. Some of the bits on top had an odd taste. Maybe 5 little pieces inside.
Even strawberry Sauce inside the cake only covered Maybe a third of the cake. At least with a blizzard you get a few pieces of actual strawberries but not on this cake.
To pay over $40 was a complete rip off.

Ordered a 6 piece strip combo, got this. What you can see is a regular sized strip, 3 very small strips and the rest is just pure breading. They just came out with asking for tips and the lady didn’t look pleased with what I tipped, this is the result. If you want decent service, you’ll need to tip above 15% for minimal service i suppose or just don’t come here

Tipping now a requirement in drive thru????
Been to this DQ more often that I'd like to say publicly, though been trying to cut back and this was my first time in a few months. The food and service (via drive thru) has always been wonderful and they were today again.
What was not wonderful, but rather disappointing, is that the drive-thru now requires you to touch their debit machine so that you can select a tip amount.
First, one of the few silver linings of a pandemic was the move toward touchless payment/ordering: e.g. Apple pay, credit card tap, etc. Having to touch a grungy debit machine became unnecessary. And now it's just dirty and if anything slows down the transaction at hand - kinda opposite of what I assume a drive-thru is aiming for.
Secondly, I can only assume they're trying to get people to tip for their drive-thru fast food orders. I do NOT understand this. While I am okay with tipping at sit-down restaurants where you have a waiter/waitress who provides a service and you can reward them with a tip at the end based on how they made your experience. In a drive-thru, there is little to no experience. You don't know if the person truly did their job correctly (receiving your order and passing it to the kitchen) until you get home at which point if they screwed up it's too late anyways. I can only assume they're jumping onto the tip wagon like so many other greedy businesses just cause they can in hopes the odd person will accidentally push yes to whatever amount.
Point of this review is heavy dislike to their new tipping requirement at this particular location. I will aim to avoid this location so at to not deal with that.
Tried to provide feedback via their survey program on the receipt, but my receipt doesn't have the required 10 or 15 digit survey codes. Also tried to provide feedback through facebook, but on my mobile phone, the webpage wasn't loading properly and half the form was over-written by 'how to contact their headquarters' Alas, an unfortunately public google review was my last option to provide feedback.

Rude lady (little over mid age lady) today leaves a thumbs down as she asks for a bag for delivery of ice cream cake despite explaining it has hot food for other order and bag won’t do anything for a ice cream cake.WHAT A SHAME! The most double faced person working at this place with bad attitude. Bad example for others.

The food is usually pretty good, the ice cream usually great. However, they’ve decided it would be fun to “add a few buttons” to the debit machine - which now has a tip menu.Get. Outta. Here.No reasonable person is going to tip for a drive-thru, you are doing your bare minimum job.Entirely ridiculous, and needs to be called out.

Sooo..we just ordered from this Dairy Queen on Skip (111st and Ellerislie), the most disgusting and repulsive chicken tenders I have ever tasted. I get it it's Skip but sending out this quality of food is not cool, we spent $47 dollars for cheeseburger combo, chicken tender combo and 2 blizzards. Just for look at the picture for yourself.
