A cozy, unpretentious place for a casual dinner. In particular, my husband and I like the Greek salad, and paired with the Greek veggie pizza, it makes a nice meal.

I came back here out of Nostalgia. My parents used to take us here when we were kids and I was so pleased to see it still existed just a couple blocks away from where I moved to! It still had the same cozy atmosphere but the young waitress was either inexperienced or didn’t care because I had to ask her for water three times before I got a glass. When she brought our food (all of which we were sharing) she didn’t bring us any plates after even asking if we needed some. We waited about ten minutes then went up and asked. I can understand if a place is busy, but there were only two other patrons in the restaurant when we were there. The only issue I had with the food is that the SIX shrimp dinner we ordered came with only FIVE on the plate. When we were finished and went up to pay, she came out from the back as we were standing at the counter and decided to go fiddle around with stocking napkins for a couple minutes before helping us. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m wondering if I should have left this place in my childhood. I will admit, the pizza still tasted like classic amazing Canadian deep dish pizza. Too bad for the service

Wanted to support my local restaurant in my area. Have not been to Dallas Pizza in over 2 years! Very disappointed. The pizza dough was not cooked it was still raw. Pizza very soggy like lots of excess water on plate! I have always loved there pizza. Not sure why this time it was not good.

My pizza was burnt and somehow RAW at the same time
Poor service , service WITHOUT a smile
waitresses have poor customer service , found lipstick on a cup I was served hot water in , I asked for the pizza to not be burnt but it still arrived burned and was incredibly hard to cut into the pizza

Went to have pizza. My family has been in this area for over 30 years. The service is terrible. I love the pizza still. But I’ll never go in person again. Waitress humiliates the patrons. And laughs at you. She throws menus at you. Ignores you. Always says things cost extra. She is in the wrong line of work. The new owner doesn’t seem to care about the bad reputation they are getting because of this server. The other server is a dream. She remembers us, says hi, and asks if we want our usual.

Dallas always delivers great food with great service. We both had the baked lasagna and it was delicious. They need to change the garlic toast tho.

In the heart of the city lies a charming, unpretentious eatery that takes diners on a nostalgic culinary journey. Stepping into this restaurant feels like a delightful time warp, where the decor, albeit dated, adds to the overall charm, evoking memories of simpler, carefree times.

The true star of the visit was undoubtedly the pizza. The dough was a standout, boasting a thicker, chewy texture with a perfectly crunchy exterior that provided a satisfying contrast. Each bite was a delightful mix of flavors and textures, showcasing a mastery of the basics that sets this establishment apart from more modern counterparts. The toppings were generous and well-balanced, enhancing the overall pizza experience without overwhelming the palate.

However, the same cannot be said for the lasagna. Despite being served piping hot, it lacked the depth of flavor expected from a classic dish. Rather than the traditional layered composition, it arrived more as a bowl of noodles mixed with meat sauce and topped with cheese. While it did not meet the expectations set by other dishes, it still provided a hearty meal, albeit not one that would be remembered fondly.

Service was friendly and welcoming, contributing to the warm atmosphere that diners have come to appreciate. However, it was sometimes challenging to get the attention of the staff, which slightly detracted from an otherwise pleasant dining experience.

Overall, this establishment excels in providing a comforting, nostalgic dining experience. The pizza alone is worth the visit, making it a notable spot for anyone seeking a taste of the past with the warmth of genuine hospitality.

Pizza always great. Steak not to required taste. Asked for rare .....got done almost well done. 3rd time they messed up. Not even an offer of a complimentary desert or discount for next time. Refused request for quality check on next order. Not giving them another chance. I even tried blue after the first mess up, I got Medium well instead.
