The new owners have not maintained what was a lovely shop. We may return for an odd ring of sausage but I miss the fresh cut meats, pickled spicy sausage, freshly made sandwiches, pies, homemade sour cream and holiday turkeys among other items. As we live in the neighbourhood, we're sad to lose a walkable shop that had so much variety.

Brought my moose in for butcher. He was drinking a 40 of vodka at 10 am and smoking in the back room. And also admitted to cooking some steaks from my moose for his family.

This place is a shadow of its former self.The butcher needs help….He breathed 100 proof on me across the counter and the product looks distasteful…I remember the glory days from the 90’s…When quality and craftsmanship was of importance.

We took in a moose to be cut and wrapped worst job yet we have been hunting for 40 plus years. Meat was frozen together , brown paper was full of blood. Be careful not a good experience. Requested a phone call from the manager a week ago and have had no response.

Me and my family have been going there for 20+ years and it has been great. Now with the new ownership the place has gone downhill. The sausage is absolutely packed with fat!! Customer service is very poor! I highly recommend avoiding this place as long as new owenership runs it like this

I have been coming to this European Deli shop for years. Homemade perogies, cabbage rolls, nalisniki, borscht including homemade pickles, and European dry goods fancy dry pastas. Smoked sausages, bacon fresh cut veal, and beef. Large fresh free range chickens. Lastly, they have a very popular takeout lunch special with a large sandwich that includes a drink at a reasonable price.

No need to look any further for your fresh homemade sausage. I asked for some custom made Italian sausage which was done within days of my request. From the minute you walk into the shop the wonderful smell is only surpassed by quality product. Very friendly staff who love to serve their customers

Found the beef jerky to be way to salty with an absurd amount of soy sauce in it. Beef jerky is suppose to be a very healthy snack. The pepperoni sticks where OK I guess.
