Dim Sum Delight Chinese Cuisine

Since Jumbo dim sum is closed on Tuesday I thought I would try this place, as I was craving the dim sum. What a dissapointment. I can’t even give it a 1 star. The food was very very bland, and prices were quite high. I expected too much. So far nothing compares to Jumbo. What a waste of money. I didn’t like it at all, but I got the leftovers to go just so as not to embarrass myself or cause a scene I guess. It is going straight into the garbage.
The only redemption was the waitress. For some reason she was quite busy, but took my order efficiently. The restaurant only had a few tables occupied while I was there around 1ish.

Changed ownership.
New owners have smaller sizes to their pork buns, and less in an order.
Overall cost increase on all items.
Charging for take out containers on already paid-for food.
Not as friendly anymore.

Used to eat here years ago when the original owner was there. Came back to the city and thought my wife and I would go for some late lunch. Was disappointed to say the least. Saw there was a new owner and the food was mediocre at best and lacked flavour. Service was not the greatest either. The server was not very welcoming bordering on rude. Change is good when it’s for the better but in this case, not so much. We won’t be back.

We got in there just after 11:00AM and there was only 3 people at one other table. We sat and waited, and waited, and waited for service until my wife had to go up and ask for service. The owner was just standing there doing nothing. The order was finally placed and 35 minutes later it arrived to our table. We thought that was very slow considering the lack of people in the restaurant.
It turned out the food was tasteless. Basically the worst Dim Sum we have ever had and we have eaten very often for decades.
I did enjoy the steamed rice though. The rest was bland and all the meat from the different dishes tasted exactly the same.
I have eaten here about 1/2 dozen times in the last 10 years and will probably never go back.

Very quiet place, a hidden gem. We had dim sum on Sunday around lunch time. We had typical dim sum all made to order.

Food came out hot as they were finished each dish. The yummy surprise was the rice rolls in XO sauce, so good.

Highly recommended. Hope you find this hidden gem.

Honestly go to the place you know. 120 for 6 items. Had to wait when I ordered pick up and even gave them 5 min extra before I arrived. The war won ton had no flavor. The chicken chow main wasn't cooked. Gave no soy sauce napkins or anything.

This little restaurant served freshly cooked dim sum, great service, ordered off the menu (no carts), highly recommend egg tart and scallop dumpling, their egg tarts are a bit pricey but delicious, it is an iconic dessert which is a quintessential part of Cantonese cuisine, a little hidden gem for dim sum!

I hadn’t been to Dim Sum Delight in a very long time and decided to give them another try by ordering online. When I arrived to pick up my order after the 15 minutes indicated online, the staff seemed confused. Despite explaining that I had already placed an order, one staff member simply shook her head and said, 'no,' without checking further.

I then pulled out my phone to show the confirmation, and only then did she check her phone and find the order. No apology was offered—just a curt, 'Can you wait another 10 minutes?' I mentioned I had to be somewhere soon and asked if it would really take 10 minutes max. Again, there was no response, and the staff member just turned and walked away without saying anything.

I ordered the Hot & Sour soup and a vegetable dish. Both were average at best, and the vegetable dish was a bit overpriced given the portion size

The food is great and the service is wonderful. I don't think I half a glass of water before it was filled! I was greeted as soon as I entered. Food tastes very fresh. Definitely the atmosphere I look for from a dim sum restaurant. Delight did not disappoint!

How have we never come to this place. Such a hidden gem. The food was so good, and I'm pretty sure my daughter saw them making the dumplings by hand. Definitely will be regulars.

It was good to come and have lunch here. Great food, atmosphere and customer service. Did not expect to see the young Lady server that I use to go to our old restaurant before and now she is an owner! I’m super impress how did she turn out. Wow!! Anyway. Food is awesome! Highly recommended.
