I got the cypress hill sandwich which was like a caprese with focaccia bread. The sandwich was very good, and quite filling. The fries were also really good. We went on a friday for lunch and it was really busy, there was a bit of a wait for a table.

It was a nice place, I'd like to come back sometime

The service was great. My brunch order was sadly disappointing.

Come here if you want to wait 30 minutes for your coffee and 2 hours for cold eggs and stale bread.

For some reason they kept ignoring us and seated others while we waited to be seated. Once we were seated the server was incredibly rude and impatient. I had the burger and it was average. Tasted flavourless and dry. The fires were mediocre. Atmosphere and location is nice.

Not impressed. We went for Sunday brunch. Service was extremely slow and very poor. We went after hearing great reviews about it but we were extremely disappointed. 5 of us ordered coffee and waited a long time but were only given one sugar each before we could ask for more the server was no where to be found. Potatoes were raw and biscuits were heavy. Mimosas were good but got them after we finished our meal, not good service and food was meh. We will not return.

We visited this restaurant after hearing great reviews from the gluten-free community. Arriving late in the evening, we seemed to have missed the dinner rush as no other tables arrived.

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the fish and chips, while my friends had the beef dip. The wait for our food felt long, though it was unclear if this was due to extra precautions for my allergies, as nothing was communicated.

The food looked good, but the flavours fell short. The beef dip was well-received, but both the fries and fried fish lacked seasoning. The coleslaw was overly creamy and bland, though the tartar sauce was great. One piece of my fish tasted fine, while the other was fishy. Additionally, my lemon wedge arrived with the sticker still attached, suggesting a lapse in quality control.

On the positive side, the cocktails were excellent. Overall, while I appreciate the restaurant’s commitment to allergy safety, the slow food service and lack of flavour left me undecided on whether I’d return.

Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate Celiac (gluten) and tree-nut/peanut allergy. Has dedicated GF fryer.

Only one vegan option on the menu - vegan spinach artichoke grilled cheese - but it was quite delicious and hearty! Cute vibe, nice location in Riverdale, friendly service, reasonable prices, generous portions. Wish there were more vegan dishes though.

The dill pickle soup was amazing however please reference my review at the neighbouring business owned by the same people regarding the terrible management.

They do not value customers. I do not recommend going here. Choose a small business that values there customers. the management and staff are rude.

lovely neighbourhood spot - food is modern twists in diner standards. the seating isn't all that comfortable so it misses a bit on atmosphere

When we arrived here it was obvious this is a local favourite! The place was packed with customers and we were seated at a small table.
Service was not speedy by any means. I don’t think we got our food until after 30 minutes from when we sat down. I had a burger and chips which were both very good. I was surprised that the chips did not come with any dip so I asked the waitress. She said ,”No problem I’ll bring you some”. And later saw it as an up charge ge on my bill. Along with hot peppers I had added. Both were not indicated as a charge on the menu or verbally by the waitress.
Wife had the breakfast sandwich which was okay but bagel tasted very dry.
Other thing we noticed was the restaurant is very open and pretty loud. Not much privacy if that’s your thing! They also only had one
We enjoyed the food and maybe would go back if we were in the area.

Went for brunch during the Canadian thanksgiving with my friends & family. Great environment & look of the place. The food was delicious & service was quick even though they were busy! Apparently there’s live music there too so would like to go back and check it out later in the day. Great brunch spot and choices for everyone from vegetarian to meat eaters!
