The chicken shawarma isn’t shawarma at all, it’s just pulled chicken absolutely drenched in black pepper. It hasn’t been marinated at all. The taste is abhorrent. There was also virtually no chicken at all on the plate, it’s mostly very large and greasy cuts of floppy red peppers. The rice was also oily and greasy, indicative of a gross kitchen and lazy workers. I wouldn’t wish this place on anyone. Stay away.

2nd time there and the food was stale! Owner has one excuse, he says if the food stays out for more than 2 hours then it will spoil. I literally took the food home and 30 mins later opened the container and the smell was horrendous. The food was spoiled…. If the food is fresh it shouldn’t spoil that fast, the food must be old and sitting in their fridge and all they do is warm it up and pack it… I’ve had so many Bangladeshi food in Jackson Heights with my Hubby and never once I came across this experience. When we call to inform the owner his defend is did you eat it right away or was it sitting out for more then 2 hours. Excuse me…. I cook and I have food sitting out all day and my food doesn’t spoil, the only time it spoils if the food is old..
I will definitely be calling and reporting this restaurant to health department, this place definitely needs to be properly investigated.

I'm so glad I decided to take a chance on this restaurant based on some excellent reviews. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter, but it came with beef instead. I didn't mind. The beef was flavorful. The sides of salad, rice, and fries seemed too large, but I ate it all. I will definitely be trying other dishes
