The steak was completely bland, like it hadn’t even touched salt or seasoning. The sides were served cold, as if they’d been sitting around for ages. For the price, this was unacceptable. Easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had which was heartbreaking as we were very excited to return. Did they change ownerships?

Some of the best steak I’ve ever had and I’ve been to a lot of high end steak houses around the world. Quality of cut was amazing, cooked to perfection and the perfect seasoning to bring out the rich flavours of the beef itself.

The venue is welcoming & trendy, with an inviting bar area and cosy tables. Outdoor seating overlooking the road is also an option. Service was great - very attentive & knowledgeable. I had two starters / shareable- the scallops cevice & the steak tartar. The tartar was really delicious! Flavors very well balanced & the sourdough was perfect for mopping up the sauce. The cevice was good - the spicy sweet chili was the perfect addition. Co-diners had steak which looked very average, and was reported to be a bit overcooked. Personally I would have been a bit disappointed in the tallow chips, as they were not at all like fries but rather like snacking chips. The cocktails were interesting & had some great well balanced options.

Visiting from out of town, many people suggested to try the steaks in Edmonton. The service was really amazing at the restaurant, and we were recommended a local beer (okami kasu) which was delicious. The steak itself was a bit subpar. It was underseasoned and tendonous.

Aiden, Jackson and Sarah were fantastic and made out first visit a memorable one! We most definitely will be back to check out supper service! We had steak for lunch and the meal was phenomenal. Well worth it and came with a few surprise flavours that we can't wait to savour again!

My friend and I came to DOSC today in high spirits, looking forward to a nice meal. Everything started off wonderfully — the atmosphere was beautiful, and Malo’s high-quality service truly impressed me.
However, the only disappointment was the food itself. The Brussels sprouts were a bit over-fried, which fully brought out it natural bitterness. The ribeye steak was also surprisingly off — it tasted as if the chef had accidentally spilled an entire bottle of salt on it. I ordered it medium, but the color and texture were much closer to well-done.
While I appreciated the ambiance and the exceptional service, I truly hope the kitchen can improve the consistency and balance of their dishes in the future.
