Double Greeting is an authentic Hong Kong restaurant east of downtown Edmonton. The food is good. It may be a bit unusual to some palettes as it is not your typical North American Chinese food offering.
The space is adequate. Clean.
The service can be rough but it feels also very authentic. Cash only.

This is a Chinese greasy spoon. We only come here mostly for their fried noodle and rice dishes. The service is fast, food is authentic and tasty but also quite greasy.

Been coming to this place since around 1995, Has always been excellent although quality has gone down in the last five years or so I’d say still an excellent choice to come if you’re craving some Chinese food. Nothing fancy at this place bit of a dive. Still a top five restaurant in the city, but unfortunately isn’t what it used to be.

The food is always delicious! There are plenty of options on the menu, so there’s something for everyone. The service is great too. Just a heads up it can get really busy during lunch and dinner hours, and they only accept cash, so make sure to bring some!

Ordered for takeout, ready in 30 (amazing!). Taste was 10/10, but the meat for ginger beef and lemon chicken was dry and hard to chew. Reasonable pricing!
Ordered lemon chicken, brisket lo mein, spring rolls, Shanghai noodles, ginger beef. No rice or fortune cookies. So so so good. Will order again!

OG Chinese restaurant with a huge menu. You can find pretty much any dish you would normally get at a 茶餐廳 in HK. It's a cash only establishment and parking can be a little tricky as well as tight. Prices are awesome here and the milk tea is not bad for Edmonton.
