Have been going here for years and last night at supper time we dropped in for the first time in a few months. What happen!!! Food was terrible. Chicken fried rice was dry and hard and chicken balls where dried out. Most of the items seemed like they were under the heat lamps a long time. Worst buffet we have ever had here.

Very friendly people who offer quick good service. I had the buffet, the food is nothing particularly monumental, but there is also nothing negative to say about it, I enjoyed it for what it was but it was your standard buffet of this kind. I can say that I will end up going back again at some point as the people are great and I don't have any complaints at all

Very tasty. Very fresh. A nice selection for a very reasonable price for a buffet. My first time and I will be back. Friendly staff too.

Restaurantji Recommends
The Dragon Buffet on the north side of Edmonton is a small, tucked-away spot in a high-traffic area, so it’s easy to access. That said, the restaurant itself is definitely on the small side. The buffet options are very limited, and even within those limited choices, the portions are so minimal that it can be confusing. The drink selection is also quite restricted.
It’s worth trying if you’re in the area and just want the buffet experience—after all, a buffet is a buffet—but if you’re looking for a true buffet with a wider variety and fuller trays, you’re probably better off spending a little more elsewhere.
I was a bit confused to ask for hot sauce and no salt and pepper on the table. And confusing that hot water is 2 dollars. And a 2 L bottle of pop is 2 dollars more then a can.

5 Stars – A Truly Impressive Experience!
I was very impressed with my recent delivery from Dragon Buffet Restaurant. I ordered directly through the restaurant—not through SkipTheDishes or Uber Eats—and that made all the difference.
The food arrived piping hot, hotter than it would’ve been coming out of my own oven. Some might say that kind of heat could only come from a microwave, but this was clearly fresh and perfectly timed. Delivery only took 30 minutes—fast and efficient!
I ordered the Dinner for Three: Shanghai noodles, chicken fried rice, and beef satay. What a beautiful meal! Everything was fresh, flavourful, and reminded me why I love Chinese food. It honestly reignited my appreciation for it.
The delivery driver also accepted cash, which is a rare convenience these days. Not only did he bring the exact change I requested, but he was also polite and professional. I gave a generous tip, and the entire experience felt like a restaurant actually caring about its customer.
I won’t be ordering Chinese from anywhere else. Highly recommended!
Ok here is the truth.......this is a different kind of buffet. Don't think this is typical. It is worth the money just know it's they will cook to order your buffet. The service is way beyond what you get anywhere else. It's as if you are in a time machine and you're in a joint that gives a s..... about how customers feel. It's simple Asian food nothing crazy worth the price they charge and the service together will make you want to come back. The reason why some of the reviews say it does not have the same taste as other places is because of the massive MSG and other stuff the other restaurants mask their food with. This is clean simple good dishes that don't overpower with salt and MSG.
The place is nice. 1st batch of food was tough as it had sat, 2nd batch better but very sweet
