Poor customer service close to closing time.
On January 12, at around 8:45 PM, my friend and I visited Dream Tea, knowing they close at 9:00 PM. There were still 15 minutes until closing, yet we were refused basic service.
When I attempted to order Earl Grey tea, I was told that it was “not fresh” and that they would not make a new batch. I was then informed that I could not order other teas either, effectively leaving me with no options to order at all.
If the store is unable or unwilling to prepare drinks 15 minutes before closing, then closing earlier should be communicated clearly. Refusing to serve customers while the store is technically still open is frustrating and unprofessional. Employees should not be selectively denying service during posted business hours.
This experience felt dismissive and unnecessary, and it left a very negative impression. Customer service and clear communication need serious improvement.
I looooved there boba, it was acc fire and the prices werent too bad. My personal favorite was teh strawberry boba with brown sugar tapioca and popping boba (I rlly recommend it)
This does not seem to be a real Dream Tea, rather maybe they bought the rights to use the name? The packaging doesn't match dream tea brand or quality. I just got tea from here that has literally 0 flavor even though it is supposed to have two flavors. I was worried it would be too sweet - this is water. The only flavor is coming from the green apply jelly. What a waste of 15$ (ordered through delivery)edited to say: I called and checked and this owner also owns the WEM location, so I won't bother with either. What a disappointment. Create a new brand name and don't tarnish the Dream Tea name like this. Dream Tea has an excellent reputation that you do not deserve any accredation for.
This location seems to have management and training issues. The other locations are fine. I hope management would look into that
Tried to order off their online menu. The person working said oh we don't have that, it isn't our menu,you must be looking at a different franchise. Meanwhile the website literally says for the harvest pointe location. Like what a mess of a way to run a business.
Came in a bit late before they closed, the service was really good by the girl with glasses. Couldnt ask for a better nightly sweet treat experience.
Ordered Earl Grey milk tea and it was delish
I got a drink from a beautiful handsome man name Deepak, he made it absolutely amazing and even gave me excellent recommendations. Excellent customer service.
Their Oreo Chillato comes with lychee jelly and tapioca, I don’t like lychee jelly so I asked the man making the drinks to replace the jelly with more tapioca instead. He says, “okay, sure”. Well, he didn’t lol I watched him make my drink. Why are they so stingy with their tapioca? So disappointing.

She was banging things to show that she got upset that i walked in. They close at 10 PM and i walked in at 9:52 PM. You guys should train your employees well to give service until the closing time. I didn’t walked -in a minute before you close that should have got upset.

First, when you walk in, you bang your head against the wind chimes they have on the door. This location is not like others. The decoration is ... very basic. Park benches and some old couches. We ordered two bubble teas, and they messed the order by mixing the toppings we asked for. Service was pretty low energy by two fatigued looking teens. Decent prices but not great staff.
My husband went for some watermelon bubble teas and what they gave him was just watermelon flavored water. We always order the same and it turned out very bad. Starting with the workers who were acting in a bad mood and when someone new showed up, he didn't want to do his job properly. My husband went back to change them. As soon as he arrived, they closed him and he knocked, but they only made signs that it was closed. I'm in a very bad mood. They don't sell their products well. They have poor service and they close with 10 minutes left, even if it's their mistake.
Came for bubble tea with my kids tonight…
The man working was very high anxiety with anyone being in the store, for sure wasn’t a welcoming experience, and had very strong body odour… the skip the dish guy came to pick up a order and used the washroom and he was very rude to him for using the washroom, another man in the line up had to explain it to the skip guy… it was the most awkward experience.
Prices are good and the service was quick. Will be going there more often.?
