This is a great little gem, true Irish pub feel, great food, and live entertainment on the Friday and Saturday. Not to mention a properly pulled pint of Guinness.

Great selection of beers. French onion soup was delicious. Very flavourful and not too salty like some can be. Sausages, peas, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding were so good. Cozy and really warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

This pub is a mess. First of all, there is character in spades. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it is the first time in a long time that I have felt that warm-fuzzy pub feeling when I walked in the door. The ambiance is great. The menu looked appealing. They even have glasses filled with Trivial Pursuit cards at the table to play with your companions.

The food is the worst food I've had in a long time. I ordered chicken pot pie—a pub classic. It was barely room temperature when it came to me. The crusty substance on top, I think intended to be puff pastry, was stale. It tasted like how moss smells.

When the server took my barely touched plate, she did not ask if there was something wrong with my meal. I'm sure she didn't care. I'm sure the management doesn't care about the terrible quality of food served this evening as they seem to only respond to outrageously positive reviews.

I shall not be returning. I am going to take a gravol and hope this queasy feeling I have is psychological and not my body some fighting sort of food-borne pathogen.
