The Windermere Edo is the nearest to me and since Edo is my favourite fast food I have ordered a few times. I usually order the chicken teriyaki but am always disappointed of how little chicken is actually on it. The last time I ordered was really bad. Way, way more mushrooms than chicken! I thought maybe it was the case with all Edo Japans but yesterday at West Ed for an appointment, I ordered the chicken teriyaki and there was NOOO comparison, way more chicken in that meal from West Ed and I ordered nothing different.

I was watching the Edo commercials on TV and thought I'd try it since the $10 price was appealing. I stopped into the Edo in Windermere on March 20 and they told me they had no such pricing. The Bento boxes were minimum of $17. The girl told me I must have watched an old ad. Funny thing, I was watching TV the same night and there was the commercial again. I think the standards in broadcasting board should hear about this. Very disappointing.
Update: EDO has responded to this review with an apology for the mistake. I believe they took my concern seriously and so I went back to try again. I got their special, the spicy tuna poke bowl. It was DELICIOUS!!! The Windermere location is clean, the staff friendly and professional and my food was served quickly, which surprised me as I was there at 6 pm on a Friday. I am glad I went back.

Delicious food, and the staff was really nice, patient and took their time to make sure they had the order correct. Didn't make me feel rushed like many fast food chains do. Thanks Edo Windermere!!

Found the good kind of tasteless. Fountain drink wasn’t good either. Restaurant itself was not too dirty. The bathroom could use some love. Staff were friendly.

Vegetables weren’t cook long enough and had that frozen taste and asked for 2 scoops and did not look like two scoops had to add soy sauce for more flavour, not the best I’ve had from edo before
I came in to order and was refused dinner from one of your racist cooks. They also made a scene over my choice of food order. I will never return to this abhorrent and inhospitable dump of a restaurant! I am going to the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Alberta Human Rights Commission, and the Public Services Alliance of Canada and will be filing a grievance/complaint claim against this business for blatant discrimination of a visible minority! I came to order food for my children and they treated me very poorly and discriminately!

Absolutely perfect location and workers. Love coming here and getting anything in the menu due to it being made quick and properly every time.

I was at this location couple times with my daughter to eat but the restaurant has Air condition problem.Being +40 and eating in a small restaurant with kitchen open makes the heat +50.When i asked workers for AC they said it has problem and they reported it but still no solution. Okay forget about us eating there for 20 min in a hot restaurant but how do they not solve the problem for workers who works there everyday for hours to make money and being in a heat all they to cook for customers!... Solve AC problem asap! Help workers and customers to eat in a peaceful place...

I love eating at Edo Japan, but this particular branch was exceptional! The service and staff were outstanding, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, as always. I will definitely be going back there again this week!
