On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, my friend and I went to have lunch at EDO at Manning Town Centre as we have for the last couple of years. I had to go on a special diet, so I ordered a surf and turf for my wife to take home and I wanted to add a small rice for myself as that is all I would have to eat with my friend. The lady at the till told me NO I couldn't get the smaller portion of rice and that I would have to buy a meal! Previously, I had no issue getting a side order. I then asked the cook as I have been going there for a few years every day for lunch and he also said NO. They did not want to sell a smaller portion of rice. Sooo I had to sit there with my friend and watch him eat as I had nothing and they did not seem to care at all. I will never go back to this location again! Poor Service! They don't care about customers at all. The staff were not accommodating on Tuesday, January 6 and made me feel like don't come back!
To the owner.. I did meet you a few times there so you know i did spend a lot of money over the years.

The beef is nearly too chewy to eat. The portion size for the money is small enough. At least keep some quality to make it worth it.
gave me gyoza sauce twice instead of tempura dipping sauce, and then gave me rice even tho i paid extra for yakisoba noodles, girl working at the front was on her phone and unpleasant

We’re regular customers at Edo Manning, but this experience was really disappointing. I ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and decided to “Sumo Size” it for an extra $5. There was no noticeable difference between the regular and the sumo size, and the bowl wasn’t even filled all the way. It honestly felt like a rip-off, which sucks because we usually enjoy coming here.

New lady at the till taking order was very rude and dismissive. Didn't understand the difference between well done and crispy. Will not be returning to this Edo.

I picked up 2 meals and paid for a paper bag to put the 2 bowls in .. When we arrived home I preceeded to pick the bag out of truck ,the bag broke and both containers fell to the ground .. We were moving and didn't have anything to eat so I went back to Edos,to reorder ,.I told them the situation ,and they replaced both meals . What a pleasant surprise, I want thank the staff for being so kind and replacing our supper .. It was very tasty and hot . Thank you to everyone involved, it made our day after a busy day of moving, Thanks again.
