The service was fantastic. We asked the Staff to recommend a dish for us and their recommendations were perfect!! My husband had the chicken and rice and it was the perfect for him, very tasty but not spicy. I had the turkey and spiced rice and it was a nice and tasty spice. Just enough heat but not so much that you can’t taste the paprika, chiles and other spices they use.
It was so good I didn’t t even think to take a picture.

Just grabbed a Beef Suya brisket skewer and Fried Ripe Plantains from El AFRIK Lounge—the spicy, grilled meat was perfectly seasoned with those authentic African spices, and the sweet plantains were a heavenly side. Super quick service, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Will be back for more street food vibes!

The grilled shrimps and sweet plantains at El Afrik Lounge were absolutely delicious. Fast service, great spices, and the perfect spot for a quick, flavorful flavor fix!
I finally found a spot that gets the smoky flavor of Jollof Rice just right! The combo with the grilled chicken was a massive portion and totally worth the price. Everything was fresh, and the staff was super friendly while I waited. I’ll definitely be making this my new regular lunch stop.
I stopped by for a quick dinner and tried the Turkey Sauce with fried rice. The seasoning was spot on, and the turkey was cooked perfectly. The team working at El Afrik Lounge was very welcoming and helped me choose between the different spice levels. I’ll be back soon to try the grilled shrimps!
Located in the food court in West Edmonton Mall, they have variety of Nigerian dishes. Based on their location, the atmosphere is basically out of their hands, but their food taste great, and not too pricey

I tried El Afrik Lounge for the first time and wasn’t disappointed. The grilled shrimps were well-seasoned, and the fried plantains were sweet and fresh. It’s a solid spot for quick meals that still feel homemade.
I stopped by for a quick meal and was impressed by how fresh everything tasted. The jollof rice had great smoky flavor, and the grilled chicken was juicy. Portions were generous, and my order came out fast.

Ordered from El Afrik Lounge after work and was happy with my meal. The fish roll was crispy, and the jollof rice had just the right kick. Service was smooth, and the food still tasted great even after the drive home.

I stopped by for a quick meal and was honestly impressed. The jollof rice was smoky and flavorful, and the grilled chicken was juicy without being dry. Portions were filling for fast food, and everything tasted freshly made. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items.
El Afrik Lounge has become one of my go-to spots for a quick lunch. The fried rice combo with turkey sauce was well-seasoned and satisfying. Staff were polite and got my order out quickly, even with a line. You can tell they care about consistency and quality.
