Sher looked after us at the table and was very professional. The two young ladies making my crepe Suzette were excellent! Very enthusiastic and full of smiles.

This place absolutely blew me away. From the moment we walked in, the elegant atmosphere set the tone for such a special night, but the food is what truly stole the show, every bite was delicious and easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The service made the experience even more incredible. Ashley J. was beyond kind, professional, and so attentive, she made us feel genuinely cared for the entire evening. Ashley H. Is also wonderful.
I also have to mention how incredibly accommodating they were with my gluten allergy, even though I let them know last minute (totally my fault). They handled it so thoughtfully and creatively, making sure every gluten-free dish was still high quality, full of flavor, and just as delicious as everything else. I never felt limited, just completely taken care of.
It turned into a birthday celebration I’ll never forget. I’ll be recommending this spot to everyone and already can’t wait to come back. Huge thank you to the whole team for such an amazing experience!

A fabulous dinner. Great food, presentation, service and ambiance. The steaks could not be more tender and flavourful. Congrats to the fabulous students who make it possible.
The service is always good at Ernest, but I was disappointed with the food. Not much vegetables in the entrees courses. Very small portion of food for the price. They you Nespresso for specialty coffee which is not very good. The dessert I had was some kind of custard tart which was hard and not that great. Parking is difficult to find in the afternoons for lunch.
They had a parsnip pear soup that was to die for and of course their desserts are always excellent.
Our steak was cooked perfectly - ordered rare! Potatoes were ok. The mushrooms were in a batter and deep fried - not really doing the mushrooms any favor as they were delicate and should have been prepared differently. Unfortunately the cabbage was extremely salty. Always nice however to go and see how the students are making out.
Had a really wonderful anniversary evening, and appreciated the personal touches (handwritten card, prosecco and other extras). Service by Alex was excellent. Thanks to the manager and all the staff for making this a special evening.
An outstanding meal with fantastic service. Would highly recommend Ernest's for an excellent dining experience.
Shane and Cora were our servers, and the service truly felt Michelin-starred. We enjoyed everything that was brought to our table. The fresh-baked rolls were to die for, and the small tasting served on a spoon was an absolute flavour explosion. For our starter, we shared the beef tartare with homemade chips. I had the Salmon and Pickerel Mosaic, while my guest enjoyed the Chicken Supreme. For dessert, we indulged in the Cheesecake Brûlée. Every dish was exceptional — a full five-star experience.
Parking was such a hassle. Interior was very hospitable especially after the stress of finding parking. Parking lot J during lunch is not available. Their map says it is. Lot C watch where you park some areas are reserved. The service from the staff was very good. The waiter we had was very informative and knowledgeable. Only thing he was wearing too much cologne.
Unfortunately, many of the choices we ordered were unavailable due to being sold out. Our other choices that we ordered were wonderful. Only complaint I feel was the coffee may not have been fresh, and was not offered a refill.

My only concern with the evening was the wait service, although a very nice young man he needs to brush up on his serving skills. He was slow to serve drinks prior to the meal, also to ask if any of us wanted a refill. He needs to learn to serve ladies first, whether it be taking their orders or to place their meal plates. At the end of the meal I asked for a glass of port, he did not ask anyone else if they would like anything to drink or even wanted a tea of coffee. Still a great meal - 10 out of 10.
Very nice meal. Food was excellent! My friend and I both had the strip loin steak which was cooked perfectly. Given we selected a very filling entree, we did not have appetizers and we shared a dessert. The quality of the food rivals any fine dining restaurant. Our server was a little nervous, and was really pressing us to try all three courses, but he was learning too and was very pleasant.
Our biggest frustration is the lack of availability of parking. All the street parking was filled up and I could not successfully get parking through the limited space using Honk app. I doubt that we will be back because of this. Food and service was very good but the soup was a little too salty.
Soup is bit salty. All other ordered food was good esp the choc birthday cake. Service was good with the exception that we waited for long time for the cream to come for coffee.
One of the best meals I have had. Great tasting food and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend Ernest's place if you want a higher end food experience. The prices are very reasonable, and the restaurant is elegantly decorated. They have a good wine list and the mixed drinks are well made. Coffee was excellent. I give it a 10 out of 10.
