“Visited yesterday with a friend and tried the clubhouse — it was simply outstanding! Chef Gurdarshan’s effort truly shone through, and we’re so grateful for her amazing work. Harleen looked after us with such warmth and friendliness. The food, the vibe, and the atmosphere made the whole experience perfect.“

We drive in from out of town to this particular “Ricky’s”. Why? Because of all the “Ricky’s” we’ve been to, this one is the best!
The woman cook and her brother always make the food extra tasty. When they were on holidays, we immediately noticed the difference in the quality and in the presentation. All of the wait staff is top-notch. The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, clean and has amusing decor.
Why do all the “Ricky’s” have the same menu but the quality varies so much? This one is EXCELLENT!

“This is a wonderful place to enjoy authentic and delicious Swahili food. The manager truly values his customers and provides excellent service. Even though part of my order was missed on a busy night—which is completely understandable—the way they handled it was outstanding. “Kelly and Denise go out of their way to make your stay a comfortable and pleasurable experience. I just had my third visit with them in three years and the welcomed feeling is always reassuring. The breakfasts, lunches and suppers with give you fuel for whatever you need to do. Denise is an excellent chef with many delicious recipes. Great people and cosy accommodations. Looking forward to next year. NOTE: They recently opened a meat processing business on site and welcome customers who are hunting to leave their animal for them to take care of at very competitive rates.“

The combination of avocado, grilled tomato, and perfectly cooked eggs was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Easily one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was just as impressive calm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing morning. Highly recommend!“

“Went to the WE Smitty's for the first time today, I used to be a regular at the Westmount location. I order the turkey dinner and there are only 2 things that would have made it better. Draft beer and a dinner bun, service was great. To bad it's only open until 8pm so no watching Oilers evening games here.“
