I rarely come by to the Southgate mall as I usually travel between Calgary and Lloydminster but today this time, I decided to try famous wok and it doesent disappoint. The sweet and sour pork tasted delicious as a person who loves it while the chow mein annd chicken ball were also delicious. The only problem was the world famous chicken tasted a bit dry.

Terrible food. I don’t even think the hot table was on the food was room temperature or lower. And expensive prices, especially for the very low quality of food that you get.
There was what they call an onion in my dish, but it was so hard and plasticy. I don’t think I believe it. It was lodged into one of my pieces of meat, and I could barely rip the thing if I tried I mean, maybe it was but even then, if you physically can’t chew something or especially even break it apart with your hands trying as hard as you can. Maybe you shouldn’t serve it.
Customer service was OK. They gave me half of my money back. Honestly, though still feels like a loss to me. Avoid going here if you really want some good mall Chinese food go to the bourbon Street or bourbon grill whatever it’s called.
That’s what I get for trying something new I guess

i love to get the singapore noodles and i like the chow mein too, usually, but lately its had wayy too much onion, like it was difficult to eat it the onion was so overpowering. and my meal was mostly chow mein and i couldnt eat it :c the small amount of singapore noodles was good tho, a lot of cabbage but good

Terrible food. Soooo salty. And none of the items was warm. I ordered the spicy fish. It was near room temperature, the batter was hard, the fish was too salty but not spicy at all. The black bean chicken was sooo salty. Will NEVER go back there. Even the rice was salty and either cheap quality rice or it was reheated from yesterday's rice. I wonder if their cook tasted any of the food they made ! Southgate should fire them ! Seriously! I wish I had read the reviews first !
Idk about the bad reviews, but I found the food was ok! Not so good but not bad at all.
Dry ribs was tasty, a bit too salty
Singaporean noodle, tastes like beehoon with Maggie seasoning, not the real singaporean noodle but it was okay
Beef stew was sooo good! Like how you expect it supposed to be 👍
