Always an excellent experience at Farrow. Best sammies I town, hands down. Pricey, but so worth it! The Grick will forever be my fav!
Gets super busy on weekends, do be prepared to wait. Limited seating, so I always just take out.
Definitely worth a visit!
We got:
the Grick (5/5!)
Chef Beef - yummy and so big. This is sharable between two people even.
Cherry lemon crofle - texture is so nice! Definitely recommend.
Lavender donut - nice solid lavender flavor!
Snickerdoodle cookie - would not recommend. Dry and hard. Didn't seem fresh.
Place to sit outside on a nice day!
Tons of flies in the window, though, which was a little off putting.
every sandwich I've had from here rocks. great coffee too. no photos because I demolished the sandwich too fast
The store has an eclectic vibe but serves up delicious, reasonably priced sandwiches. The staff was efficient. A few tables in store but really geared for takeaway.
Great food but the vegan options are always light on the fillings, would love more vegan meat added!
The food’s solid and the cooking staff seem chill, but the front counter service always feels cold and a bit entitled. A smile or some friendliness wouldn’t hurt. Not really tip-worthy when the interaction feels like a transaction. Would love to see the energy match the kitchen’s vibe.
I always love to get some Farrow but why is the staff now so rude? I just wanted to order two sandwiches and the dude who worked Saturday was completely not having it with me ordering two sandwiches. All laughs with his coworkers in the back but complete dull and aggressive attitude towards me the paying customer simply waiting in line not even making it known I was waiting patiently. I know you guys are busy and I’ll keep coming but why is the service and attitude towards customers gone downhill so much? Very sad guys very sad
Love the kronuts. Delicious! First time we tried the blueberry filling kronut. Generous portions. Next time the raspberry and white chocolate filling. Soooo good
A friend has shown me this place, and I believe these sandwiches are truly blessed by the gods.
Loooove this place!

Great place, amazing sandwiches. Menu changes often but I think the Grick is always there. I want to know if I can buy the bread or if they make it in house. Very small, I suggest take out but you can eat in if there's a spot. Patio in summer is nice. Great location near the breweries on Pinty-Ninth Street.
when I was young, I used to snowboard in the BC mountains with my now estranged father, we would stay in fancy lodges and eat at very high end restaurants that I could never afford for myself. The 'grick middle' at this place was so stupidly good it took me back to that time, opening a door to a very cherished time in my life that I felt I had forgotten, and it was only 9$
Best vegan sandwiches in the city. They also have meat options for the carnivores and vampires. The cronuts... Simply devine.
The vegan Philly cheesesteak sandwich was great. I love that their menu is constantly changing and that there’s always a vegan sandwich available. Limited indoor seating area. Some tables outside. Plenty of street parking.
I purchased the system of the hash brown and to say it was under seasoned would be an understatement. Please if you are going to charge >$12.00 for sandwhich make it have flavour.
