Food is very good but our waitress was dressed inappropriately for a restaurant atmosphere. Wearing a shirt that exposed her stomach and back. Which is fine for a lounge or nightclub but not for families and children. There should be a dress code to look more classy and professional.

The food and portion sizes are excellent. I want to give 5 stars but the last two times I’ve ordered (through Skip) they have either missed items or sent the wrong item. Would be 5 stars if orders were sent out properly.
Pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed the curry chicken katsu, the salmon & tuna lover bowl (you can get both instead of choosing salmon or tuna) and the chicken karaage. Prices are very reasonable and the service was great.

Tried for the first time and we liked it! On a super cold weeknight it was quiet inside, it was clean, the food was quick and tasty. We liked everything we ordered, it was fresh and well-presented. Will return!

Unreasonable overpriced, food quality does not justify the ridiculous pricing. Gave it several tries for dine in and take out, nothing surprising. Service was nothing special either. Just your regular neighbourhood Japanese restaurant that decides to charge a premium pricing for no reason. Many more other much better options. Not recommend.

We ordered takeout twice from Feng Donburi and it left a lot to desire. We spent $100 between two people for 4 rolls, one chicken katsu and a karaage. The portion sizes are a lot smaller than the restaurants we usually order from. The chicken katsu wasn't anything special, and the sauce was much sweeter than usual. Not sure why this place has such high ratings. I've been to a lot of Japanese restaurants between Vancouver and Toronto and this is safely a 2.5/5

We’ve been here a few times since it opened. We have kids so most of the time we order the bento box to share. Service was much faster this time but we noticed they took out the gyoza or the substitute of the chicken dumpling, and the edamame with the meal and it was still the same price. We found our portion much smaller than before which we weren’t happy about. I hope they add it back next time we come back because the food is still good.
This place is amazing. Great atmosphere, super helpful staff and hostess. Rolls are perfect sizes, with a range of large and small. Our 10 yr old wanted dumplings and the 6pc Gyoza was perfect for him. All ingredients were super fresh, avocados were the perfect ripeness. Their signature seasonal deserts are pcs of art, the amount of time and detail on these are absolutely stunning. I would travel across the city for this place, luckily we’re really close. 10/10.
I’ve ordered and dined in many many times over the last few months. The food is pretty good but the service and delivery is extremely slow and keeps getting worse, which now makes me reconsider ordering from here again. The chef/servers are nice and do their best, but it seems like they are always short-staffed, so I hope the owner considers hiring more staff to increase efficiency.

Feel like the portions are a little small in comparison to other places for price. Tastes good though

I’ve been ordering from feng Donburi all summer and I have to say not only is the food amazing - I’m highly impressed with their service. Our order accidentally got mixed up with another customers and I called to let the restaurant know. I assumed they would just say to make a complaint to Uber and we would get a refund (this is what another restaurant had told me to do when I received the wrong order in the past) but instead they put the order through again and had the food delivered to us right away. We got our original order plus they let us keep the food that was delivered by mistake.
Their food is also top notch. I’d highly recommend the fried Jalapeno spicy tuna, seared salmon sunrise, garlic shrimp Donburi, baked mussels, Chop chop, ikura sushi, curry chicken katsu, roast beef Donburi and the creamy miso salmon Donburi. My family has literally ordered all these things once a week for the past 2 months and it hits the spot every single time.
Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in Edmonton and especially on this side of the city. Highly recommend.

I can't believe we have such a great (family friendly) sushi restaurant in this part of town. We come a few times a month and have never been disappointed. I love the Dragon Eye roll ?

I would have liked the garlic tonkotsu to have more garlic taste and the curry to have more spice. But the flavors were all there. Menu is fairly big so we'll have to try other items next time.
