The young guys working here today were eager to accommodate me. I can’t have bread and a lot of other things and they were really kind and eager to offer suggestions and also had fun making my order. The two that were up at the till were even kind and priced it to the best value and also complimented the choices so it was all around a great and affordable experience and I felt very welcomed and not like I was a pain for my order

I have been here a few times now, I have found the new staff has made my experience 10x better. They have been very friendly and helpful. (which previously it was the opposite). I always get the chicken salad sand which,, which it really is one of my favourite and mmm the sunflower bread !! I love it so much.I do like their pies however sometimes I find them too cold and mushy BUT their cherry tarts are soooo amazing. The prices are bit high especially for their salads and how small they are but it is really good otherwise.

Fast Food Sandwhich shop.I would not call it a deli of any sorts.Service was good food was average roast beef was tasteless serving of meat was two small slices.Over priced considering food quality.Soup was pretty good similar to Quiznos.

Got lunch and was amazing! Great service, and bread is amazing. Will want to buy a loaf. Wish they offered a sub style bread though as they do load the sand which toppings. A little pricy as well, they don’t offer a “meal deal” unless you get their specific sandwich of the day.

There used to be a lot of wonderful ladies that worked here, and this past visit it was all young, teenage boys, who seemed rather new, which is totally fine. The only discrepancy I notice, was that, while my order has remained the same for the many years I've been coming here, it was a lot more expensive the last time I went, and I seemed to have been charged more than usual. They were also unfortunately out of pickles. I'll still always return as I love this place, that was just a bit of a bummer

Came here for lunch with a friend, I thought the sandwiches would have MUCH more meat on them, so that was a little disappointing but I did think the bread, sandwich and toppings had a good overall selection. Macaroni salad was very good. Lots of seating and didn't seem too busy over the lunch hour. Will be back for more sandwiches in the future

Fast, tasty sandwiches, and the pie is outrageously good.

Sad to say, 15 years of loyalty to the Fifendekel off 170 street, is down the toilet. This was at one time my favorite soup and sandwich place in the city. Today I was met by a young lady that snapped at me, She was showing me she was the boss. It wasn't busy, there wasn't anyone behind me in line. I ordered 2 dark turkey on white, with sprouts to go and Two Flapper pies which i had pre-ordered. The portions were embarrassing. one skinny slice of white meat on my sandwich where the brown should nave been.I ordered a piece of beef for my dog and was told I would have to buy the sandwich. She later relented and only charged for "the extra meat". I loved the Fifendelel for their quality and portion sizes. The staff were happy!! Today there were no smiles or laughing. Especially from me!!This review brings me no joy.

I had a turkey sandwich and small chili... so good and amazing quality! Also bought a full apple pie that we devoured. My husband said we would just come here from now on and avoid those lower quality chain sandwich

Yummy! Everything I've tried here is phenomenal.I'd recommend the egg salad on their sunflower bread! Desserts are too good. Those coconut cream tarts are the absolute best!Staff is always very efficient and friendly. Love the assembly line to make everything run smooth.

I have been going here for years.I am disappointed in the quantity nowLess meat on the sandwich.Muffins are so small now.Pies are still good. The owner doesn’t seem to care.It has really gone down hill.

Great sandwich as always. The staff that built our sandwiches seemed they wanted to be anywhere else but there, and it required a bit of patience to ask them to spread the ingredients properly. Not a big deal, probably in training or something like that.Definitely recommend the tuna sandwich, the cherry pie and the pecan pie.
