Filistix - Filipino Restaurant in Edmonton

Filipino food elevated to a whole new level, filipino food sometimes gets too oily but they manage to preserve the taste without making everything too oily but making it still tasty. Chori burger is definitely the star - flavourful and moist kinda regret getting the single patty because it it so good. As a noodle lover what a treat to see my favourite dish the fried noodle (pancit guisado) done with a touch of class. Grilled liempo - meat that melts in your mouth like what? Oh soo sinful. The desserts are Halo halo classic goodness, and the leche flan is 5 stars for sure, creamy and just the right kind of sweetness. Lastly service is great.

I've been to the Filistix location at the UofA and really enjoyed the food, but this was my first trip to the downtown location and had such a wonderful experience. A friend and I dropped in for lunch and while I knew the food would be delicious, I wasn't expecting the wonderful service we received from Ren. I have experienced good customer service before, very polite, very professional; but Ren made us feel so special, so WELCOME, we can't wait to go back. It was truly a special and unique experience. (And the food was as delicious as ever, the pork adobe was so good and so tender.)

I had some food from the food truck tonight. It was so good, I was going back for seconds while my girlfriend finished off the first order. Fantastic food from Chef Sean, and great service from Marc. Would recommend making a point to visit them when you see the truck.

They were at our condo complex tonight i got the Choro burger and shrimp and pork dumplings. Just have to say wow was so flavourful and just the right amount of spice. I honestly feel like going and getting more ? Nice and friendly will definitely be back

I have only tried South Pacific coconut menu item! It was so delicious, I highly recommend it. It was spicy, creamy, rice and chicken were cooked to perfection! ??

Went Saturday and they have brunch, but it’s too pricey. It’s our first time, But the price is not even worth the food they serve.

We usually dont go here for dinner, so this was a first to see the menu that they had. We tried their couple menu which was 5 courses. It was a good way to try different things, the best thing we are were the pork and potato dip and the ube crepe. We also got a cocktail each which was a good way to start the meal.

Really appreciated the energy of the server and his humour and how he talked about the menu.
