We chose to have our Christmas get-together downstairs at Fox Burger in the Boiler Room. Everything was ready for us and Teigan looked after our group for lunch. The service and food couldn't have been better and the space was cosy and perfect. Thank you for making this gathering absolutely the BEST!!

The burger was really good. The homemade relish elevate it to a fork and knife burger rather than a hand held burger. Cooked to perfection. I wish the fries were homemade though. Would have added to the occasion.

Service was impeccable.

The garlic fries (free upgrade) were delicious. We also shared a crispy polenta appetizer!

Enjoyed a work function with about 20 people in the boiler entertainment room of the restaurant. Cool little room with some good vibes but a bit small and cramped for a group of that size.
Service was great with a dedicated bartender and server for the space.
Had a tasty burger and fries. They make a good smash burger with a good variety of topping options, and the option of one or two hamburger patties.

It's just OK, I noticed that the burgers are usually cold, fries are hot. The waitress assured us she'd bring them ASAP but the burger was cold again :( sitting 10 feet from the kitchen

This place is fantastic! Spectacular food, great service and cozy atmosphere. I'm a big fan!! Seating can be challenging, so you might want to call ahead for a reservation. But... make that call! It's worth it, but bring your appetite - the portions won't leave you hungry.

I recently visited Fox Burger with high expectations, hoping to experience a great burger, but unfortunately, the experience left me feeling underwhelmed. While the atmosphere was pleasant, the food didn’t quite live up to the hype. In fact, I couldn't help but draw comparisons to McDonald's, and not in a flattering way.

To start with, the burger itself was a major disappointment. When I took the first bite, I was struck by how similar it tasted to a McDonald's burger. Now, I’m not saying that McDonald’s burgers are inherently bad—they have their place when you’re in the mood for something quick and easy—but when you’re paying a premium for a gourmet burger, you expect more. The patty had the same bland, overly processed flavor that you would find at a fast food chain, and the bun, while soft, lacked any distinctive flavor or texture. It felt like a fast-food burger with a slightly better presentation.

The toppings, which were meant to elevate the burger, also fell short. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, but the overall combination didn’t offer anything unique. If you’re looking for an exciting or inventive burger, this isn’t it. Instead, it felt like a burger you could get at a chain restaurant, but with a slightly pricier tag.

Now, let’s talk about the fries. I had heard great things about them and was looking forward to some crispy, golden fries to accompany my meal. But once again, I was disappointed. The fries were limp and lacking that crispy crunch that makes a good fry memorable. Frankly, I found myself thinking that McDonald's fries are far superior. Their fries have that perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside that is hard to beat, and sadly, Fox Burger didn’t even come close to that standard.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was fine, though. It had a casual vibe with comfortable seating, and the decor was charming. If you’re just looking for a place to grab a quick bite with friends or family, this might be a good option. But if you’re craving a top-tier burger or a more unique dining experience, you might want to look elsewhere.

Over priced for private function in boiler room. Very claustrophobic atmosphere. Food was ok. Will not return to this location.

Too expensive. Over $21 for a burger that really isn’t that great. Dirty dishes at the place in Highlands, staff whose body language scream “I hate my job” and have non interest in working to ensure its a memorable visit. So much potential with this place, bUt this place has gone downhill fast. Save your money and sanity and go elsewhere to eat.

Amazing food!!! Cannot wait to come back again! Definitely recommend and worth a stop at this location! There is an epic liquor shop next door as well as an artsy boutique on the other side. Beauty neighbourhood.
