Cute little place for a burger in Highlands.
Burger was really good but quite overloaded and messy - had to finish it with a fork and knife. Really tasty spinach and artichoke dip too but they could give more dip for the amount of chips that come with it.

My burger was fine, for the price you might expect something special, it was not. The main issue was my gf ordered a poutine thinking she was getting a side order of poutine, as this was the only size poutine on the menu. When it arrived they brought a mega sized bowl of poutine that was mostly fries and hardly any cheese or gravy. This "poutine" or bowl of fries was big enough for 3 people. When we got the bill the bowl of fries was 20 dollars. Just an absurd price and amount of fries for something that we never meant to order, as it wasn't on the menu. The server did not even attempt to clarify what size we wanted when we ordered.

Fox Burger is a delightful surprise in the Edmonton food scene. Their signature smash burgers are cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The unique blend of spices and sauces elevates the classic burger experience to new heights. I personally like their mushroom swiss, but the animal smash burger is a close second.

The fries are crispy and well-seasoned, making them the perfect side dish. Seriously, the fries are almost better than the burgers.

While the menu is relatively simple, the quality of the food is exceptional. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere create a welcoming dining experience. If you're a burger enthusiast, Fox Burger is definitely worth a visit.

What a wonderful burger joint. Joint usually describes a sports bar, or diner, but Fox Burger is far from that. It is a high dining experience with amazing burgers, service and drinks.

Unforgettable Dining Experience at Fox Burger!
Fox Burger in Highlands area in Edmonton was an absolute gem! We were seated in their cozy boiler room section downstairs, where the original boiler room from 1913 once was—a quiet, intimate setting perfect for date night. Our waitress was wonderful; her knowledge of the building’s history added such charm, and her timing was impeccable, making us feel completely cared for. The food was delicious and generous—no detail was overlooked! I HIGHLY recommend this location; the atmosphere is truly indescribable and memorable. An experience worth every moment!

Parking: Street parking, perfect for an amazing walk down the historical Ada boulvard.

Kid-friendliness: Family friendly environment that the kids will feel comfortable in.

The atmosphere was very open yet still gave a comfortable vibe without be the over the top trendy which I find just uncomfortable. The plain fries were nice and crispy and my family agreed almost an upgrade to McDonald ones. There was a nice selection of burgers that were not like everyone else has. My husband and I both loved our burgers and the smashed patties were ON-POINT just crispy enough but not burnt and just the right amount of seasoning. I got the salad I could not pronounce and it was so amazing that I almost didn't let my husband try a bite. I would love to try the patio. Would like to see maybe a few desserts on the menu and was very inconvenienced by the parking. Over all would come back for the food.

Parking: There is no parking near by but residential which can really be a hassle.

Went for a little later meal, as this place gets pretty busy during regular meal hours! But ABSOLUTELY worth the wait if that is what you choose. We went for dinner around 19:40, got right in. Menu was a good size, not overwhelming in choices. I cannot remember the name of the burger I ordered , but it was absolutely phenomenal. The cabbage salad they had was not appetizing, I don't know if I would have like more sauce or had it marinated, but I found it bland and unsatisfactory.
My husband had the animal fries with his burger, and they were absolutely delightful and delicious. I would definitely order them again, but one order of them is good for two people (imo). All in all, their burgers are what make this place known!! And for good reason. The chefs are great at what they do ?

Fox is such a gem. Best rooftop patio over the beautiful Highlands, fantastic burgers (May i recommend the Bacon Pepper Smash). A teeny bit pricey, but worth it!

First visit and tried the special seasonal burger. The chicken was juicy and well deep fried. The combination of the burger was great. I will say it will be better if the cheese and the sauce spread more evenly. The homemade salad was good and the veggies were fresh. Service is good.

Amazing food. Highly recommend, especially for those with celiac disease. Fox Burger has dedicated fryers and cooks that are trained well to prevent cross contamination (plus the host/hostess and servers are knowledgeable)

Dietary restrictions: These folks kick butt for taking gluten free seriously. As someone with celiac, Fox Burger has NEVER let me down!!! The animal fries and brussel sprouts are amazing (so are the burgers!)
