The food is great! Decent priced and feels like a home cooked meal. The only thing I'm concerned about is your server. I've been there 3 times and the long hair lady would appear to be hot and cold. The last visit I witnessed guests leaving because of her service. Only to complain the guests weren't communicating. She had also offered my friend both menus but when my friend asked a question, the server replied with sarcasm which we all noticed but gave her the benefit of the doubt. I'd love to support the business but with more patience and kindness just as we have displayed.

We got breakfast today and the service was very on time and quick with everything. Very nice waiters.
The food was pretty good it delivered exactly how you’d expect it to and the quality of everything was clearly fresh. The eggs were fluffy and the salmon was delicious. One thing I noticed is they seem to be light on the salt for the eggs, probably to allow you to put as much salt and pepper as you’d like. I also get a caramel latte and I definitely enjoyed that. They also give you toast, salad, and potatoes which I found plenty for the sides

No complaints at all food delivered as expected. Will definitely go again for breakfast and maybe try the pho in the future as they offer that as well

If you feel like treating yourself to a sink pee in a legendary Edmonton community staple, then I heartily recommend Friends & Neighbours Cafe. The counter is nice and low, and the basin is easily accessible. Also, the decor is quirky and cozy, and they have a well-stocked supply of Lubriderm.
