It’s a hidden gem in Whyte Ave! Nice ambiance, very good staff and food is authentic! We ordered takoyaki, Oyakudon, Tonkatsu set and shrimp tempura. We’ll definitely come back for the special rolls ?

Hidden gem on Whyte Ave:). I love this place. It's been a fixture of the community for years and there's a reason for that. Family run, very attentive, and the food/effort put into it is just amazing. In a world of fast paced restaurants I'm very happy that Furosato is still around on this street, as the food, charm, friendliness are second to none. Thank you for making every experience feel like home:)

This restaurant has easily become one of my favorites on Whyte Ave. The atmosphere inside is amazing, with traditional Japanese paintings, geisha dolls, and Japanese instrumental music playing.The food is amazing. The flavours are balanced, and the plating is simple yet elevated. Some recommendations for me include the takoyaki, as well as the dragon eye roll. The tempura is a classic choice, and it's very good. All the portion sizes are large, and the prices are very reasonable....
