Ordered takeout. If you have eaten at Asian wok, Eddie's and Bombay Chopsticks etc. in Mississauga, you will not like the food at Ginseng. The rice tasted as just a boiled rice as opposed to steamed. Ginger chicken had no taste and manchurian chicken tasted nothing but spicy. The stirr fried vegetables were just boiled and had no taste. Paid over $100 for ginger chicken, manchurian chicken, veg dish snd momos. Not worth at all.

Had such a great time at Ginseng Restaurant with my friends! The food was so good — everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. The vibe of the place was cozy but modern, perfect for catching up and enjoying a chill night out.

We also had the pleasure of meeting their amazing manager, Sang Hee. Super welcoming, attentive, and you can tell they really care about the service and experience. It honestly made our visit feel extra special. Definitely coming back again soon!

The food was fantastic! Huge buffet, large variety of meats at every spice level for grilling, and everything was super fresh. The staff was friendly and explained the process to us, and there was no pressure to leave once we'd finished eating. My sister and I both loved it and are looking forward to coming back! We particularly loved that it was buffet style so you can control portions, which isn't always the case with all you can eat. We were very happy with the price for the amount of food we ate as well. The sirloin steak was divine and worth the price on its own.

The moment you step into Ginseng on a Sunday, you're not just at a restaurant—you're crashing the best family BBQ in town. The air is thick with the delicious aroma of grilling meats and the palpable buzz of happy diners, creating an infectious, communal energy. And there's a special kind of magic in cooking your own meal right at the table, flipping the meat until it's just the way you like it—a little bit charred, perfectly juicy—and sharing it with the people you love.

The menu is where Ginseng truly shines, offering an impressive and thoughtfully curated feast. While the stars of the show are the endless varieties of beef, pork, chicken, and lamb, it's the fresh, vibrant additions that truly elevate the experience. You'll find yourself making a perfectly balanced plate, stacking your grill with classic onions, carrots, and zucchini, and artfully wrapping your sizzling protein in crisp, large lettuce leaves. Don't forget to add some delightful seafood options like shrimp, cuttlefish, and mussels—they were a definite hit in the wraps! The tangy pickled radish and a comforting cup of soup also make all the difference. Even with crowd-pleasers like veggie tempura, the possibilities for a wholesome and satisfying meal are endless.

In the end, Ginseng proves it's so much more than an all-you-can-eat spot. It's a wholesome, lively, and truly satisfying culinary experience. If you're looking for great value, fantastic variety, and a whole lot of fun, grab your crew and get ready to grill—you won't be disappointed!

Not really sanitary once staff laid it out, also tipping being mandatory when you’re cooking and serving yourself? Ridiculous

Found a hair in the food of self serve area. A mandatory 15% tip is ridiculous for a place where you pick out and cook your own food.

We’ve given Ginseng a few tries. For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, the selection is surprisingly limited. There just isn’t much variety, especially when compared to other similar spots in the area.

What’s more concerning is that every time we’ve eaten here, we’ve ended up with stomach issues, including diarrhea. We’re not sure if it’s a food handling issue, we didn’t cook the food well or something else, but it’s been consistent enough to raise red flags.

We wanted to like this place, but between the lack of options and the unpleasant aftereffects, it’s just not worth the risk.

I always enjoyed going to eat kbbq here. I love the idea of grabbing your own food, so that you don't waste.

I moved to Calgary after the graduation, but I come back to eat at this restaurant frequently. Always be my first choice.

Dinner is $39 for all you can eat including the drinks already. The best thing we like in this place is you just go and get all the items you want in the buffet table then grill it yourself, no need for ordering again and again for items you like compare to other all you can eat places where you still have to call the waiters and fill up papers you wanna order, which is sometimes awkward. Servers are very accommodating and very attentive when to replace our griller. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
