Golden Taste Restaurant

Came here with my family for a feast. Second time here and it still did not disappoint. Wasn't busy at the time we came. Food came out piping hot and fresh. Everything was tasty and super authentic. Definitely recommend the fried chicken, 4 seasons wok fried green beans, eggplant and pork hotpot, beef chow ho fun, and mayo fried shrimp. Best of all, their serving sizes here are large! This restaurant will be relocating to NE Edmonton in the near future, but will still be visiting them.

Read good reviews about the food here, and the food was good.. the owner lady was less than hospital.
When meal was done, we wanted to pack up leftovers and pay... I asked for a bag... She got angry and said it will cost $1, .. okay.. charge me

The price was fairly good for what we got, we also got wonton soup which isn't shown. The shanghai noodles were good but could've used some more flavor, everything else was good but the beef vegetables lacked a bit of flavor. The owner was really nice, she gave us a discount and 2 free 710ml pops. Overall can't complain with the amount we got for about $60.

I called the restaurant to ask if they were hiring and I was told by the lady…” Please don’t call me anymore”… I don’t get it what kind of customer service is this. If you guys are not hiring, it could be said politely and with respect.

The food was absolutely delicious and the lady at the front was very friendly, and even gave me a free pop with my meal. I would strongly recommend this place as there’s not too many more establishments like it

This is a hidden gem for authentic chinese food. BIG portions which is nice but the quality is even better. Usually pretty slow inside but lots of take out orders. Maybe because its tucked away in a little strip mall. If you are ever in the area I suggest trying it. Food always comes out hot and fresh. Chicken fried rice with salted fish is soo good. Beef brisket hot pot, salt & pepper squid and vermicelli noodles with XO sauce are some of my ''go to'' items. Not overloaded with MSG either.

In all my years ordering food at this restaurant we have very rarely been disappointed.I have been to alot of restaurants and this is one of the few that's consistent.If you had one bad experience don't write them off. It's very rare for them to mess up.

Picked up for take out, right away was greeted and taken care of for quick grab and go.Price is great for the portions you get, definitely having left overs. There was one more plate of food taken from the containers and still had lots left.Everything tastes great, veggies are crisp, good portions of proteins mixed in to the dishes. Nothing is overly salty which is a plus and all I add at home is some siracha.All of the food plus another plate of food was $65 and honestly worth the price and 5min drive to grab.
