This past week I shopped at t Empress Empanada / Goldenbucks Bakeshop for the first time. I had a number of questions and was impressed by the fantastic customer service that I received.
I decided to purchase a number of items to take home to sample and now that I have tried it, I understand why the Yema Cake is so popular. As I was eating the last Chicken Empanada, I found myself regretting that I hadn't purchased more and I could definitely see myself stopping by to try to purchase a Ube Cream Cheese or Mango cup (or maybe two) as comfort food when I have had a rough day.
I know that with todays' economy and inflation we need to be selective where we choose to spend our money. So, if you have already spent your bakeshop budget for this month, I ask that you consider trying Empress Empanada / GoldenBucks Bakeshop next time.
I will definitely be a repeat customer and look forward to purchasing more of their offerings to sample.

I love their cakes, was disappointed during my visit. Staff keep chatting instead of entertaining their costumers. I was inline to pay but they keep chatting so I returned back their cake and left.

I like their empanadas and pistachio boat tarts. My daughter likes the empanada so much........But they changed the wrapper of boat tarts from bright colored cellophanes to just ordinary plastics and sealed it which makes it not presentable anymore. Boat tarts are traditionally wrapped with brightly colored cellophanes which makes it fun to eat and easy to open which is the opposite of what they use right now. Hope they’ll switch it back to its original packaging :-).
