Good Buddy Restaurant (North)

Our experience this evening was very good. Waitress mentioned this evening they had fresh roast pork, so we ordered it, and it was very good, we ordered ginger and green onion lobster which was very good, ordered the ginger green onion steam chicken and it was very well done and also very good, the snow pea tips were also good. It was a very satisfying meal and the service was also very good.

Absolute garbage this place $175 dollars spent...food wasn't delivered till 2.5 hours later when I called to ask what is taking so long they never picked up the phone, when they actually picked up the phone she hung up food arrived cold we also received someone else's order this place should be shut down how is this legal. We ended up ordering from somewhere else food into the garbage.

I will be making some phone calls once the holidays are over with every fiber in my body I will get this place fined or shut down !

coffee is nothing special just instant coffee in a jar...regular folgers/rogers would be a better choice...

I would not recommend this place if you have other choices. Came here for dimsum on a Saturday noon. No lineup not lots of people. However it took them at least 30 mins to bring the dishes after we ordered. The taste of chicken feet was not fresh. The sponge cakes were like made from a month ago.

I stopped by Good Buddy Restaurant in Edmonton for dim sum while I was in the area. The food was decent overall, but a few items were a bit bland, and while the service was good, the pricing felt high for the quality compared to other dim sum spots.

Too bad parking (Nov 25) parking at Northgate is horrendous. Dim sum has not changed much over the years and glad to know that it's still consistent.

Food is not consistent since they have many chefs. Food cooked by their main chef is delicious. There's 5 chefs and 2 are great cooks, rest either okay or bad.
