Food and coffee is always great here. Love the location! Was not happy about the service though... Barista working that day was rude, impatient and didn't really seem to listen to order requests and just charged us extra for items we didn't order. She also kept giving us paper bags to hold our food when we wanted to dine in. Overall not happy with service.

Nope not drinking that cup of loathing, I paid for it but you can keep it, I won't be back... as a customer being ignored is so heartwarming I'm 3 feet away I was the only person standing waiting for my to-go cup of Joe.. Goodbye I'd rather drink water and just walk by your shop, I walked another 6km before I had something to warm me up that wasn't hate filled 4 out 5 trips to this shop are meh, you tell me if someone walked to your shop.. Anywhere selling anything and a customer purchase was left sitting there without announcing its ready what does that tell the customer

My partner and I ordered the steak panini, bacon Mac, apple butter latte, and maple chicken wrap today via DoorDash. The food was cold, so the sandwich bread was very tough and difficult to eat. My partner’s wrap did not taste like maple, only chicken. The Mac and cheese was good but probably would have taste even better warm. Overall, the meal wasn’t awful but I wouldn’t order it again. I spent $45 and was really unsatisfied.DoorDash should not have businesses start to make the food until the dasher is on the way as this is one of many times that I’ve received cold food.

I am writing this review for my quick dine-in visit last month. The young woman who was there was friendly and kind. I will not describe her appearance for the sake of her anonymity, but if you are fortunate enough to interact with her, your day will automatically be brightened.Out of the 4-5 cafes/bakeries I have visited for my profession on that day, Good Earth on 124 Street was the absolute best in terms of service. It was the last stop that day before heading home.I had ordered an iced coffee and it tasted great! It had a good proportion of ice and coffee and I remember it being very refreshing on that hot summer day.I have not rated the food here, because all I had was an iced coffee or cold brew and so it is not fair to rate it 5 stars. I do recall having tried minestrone soup at another location a few years back and thought it was good.This location is one of the nicest in the city as far as I'm concerned. Well aware of the issues of certain downtown boroughs, Block 124 remains the highlight of downtown for my family. Noticeably, the amount of drug users and unkempt individuals were few and far between.This coffee house is smaller in size but has a nice little outside patio with benches to relax in and people watch.Highly recommended and I will likely make a stop very soon to try their food offerings!
