Crab cakes full of crab with a wonderfully balanced salad coupled with the best fries you can buy for a meal like this + wine and a beer. Excellent. Great service too - always friendly. My go to place. Will be there again this week. You cant have too much of a good thing.
Always a pleasure dining at H&O! Perfect variety of bursts of flavor of well curated plates & shareables, cozy local vibes, attentive staff and all-around great experience Every. Single. Time. Hit up Happy Hour- you won't be dissapointedl!
Best happy hour! We are always treated amazingly. Frank, Andrea and all of the staff are fantastic.
This place makes me happy literally. The brunch was very good, loved how cozy the restaurant was. Great food, great service.
Amazing food and ambience. Service was excellent however a bit understaffed for a Saturday evening. Highly recommended.
The reservation, choice of seating, service and most of all... the food, was perfect! A great place to catch up with old friends and enjoy the lovely space. The owners are on site and participatory, along with the wonderful staff, and it feels like a team and family all involved in taking care of their patrons. I highly recommend the Korean Schnitzel, yummm
First timer— enjoyed the food and also the service. The staff were all helpful and friendly and shoutout to Sarah (sp?) who made the experience especially enjoyable.
It is busy so recommend making reservations!

Love this place for breakfast or lunch. It can get busy so plan ahead. I like their coffee and baked goods in the morning.

Ribs were undercooked, fall off bone on one end and chewy on the other, I expected better for what we payed. They were so close to getting a better rating, but attention to detail killed it.
Do better.

Neighbourhood gem perfect for celebrations.
We had an excellent family evening at Happy & Olive in Edmonton celebrating my nephew’s 20th birthday. This upscale, mom-and-pop spot delivers on all fronts—excellent food, thoughtful drinks, and warm, inviting service. We were a group of seven and went family-style so we could sample a range of dishes—highly recommend this approach to enjoy more of the menu.
Service was friendly, efficient, and perfectly paced, and the room has that relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. So happy to have discovered this neighbourhood gem—can’t wait to return!

Happy & Olive has delicious food and exceptional service. The restaurant has a delightful midcentury atmosphere, which accommodates all sorts of seating. I’d highly recommend the Happy Burger; tender and juicy patty served with crispy fries that would rival Costco’s. 🫒

Went for Brucnh today and it was delicious! I enjoyed visiting Canteen and was delighted to try brunch at Happy & Olive. Friendly staff and family run.

The food was expensive. It wasn't bad but the Brekkie sandwich was too messy to be eaten like one. There was random lemon aioli that was supposed to go with...something. Not sure what. The wait staff was alright. Water was dropped on my sandwich when the server was reaching over to fill up my friend's glass and nothing was said in regard to it. All in all, it was alright. There are better spots.
