This has been our go to spot for years- over the last few months it has not been consistent. Today’s breakfast- over cooked eggs, soup had so many flour lumps , toast over toasted, homefries undercooked. The table next to us had burnt toast they did not eat as well. Although our server was quick to fix the last 3 x we have sent something back or not eaten something. We have been patrons for almost 10 years and have never experienced this before.

It's was an alright experience, nothing to write home about. The service lacked, and it wasn't packed - lots of forgotten items. The food itself was okay, portions were regular sized. Overall, not amazing, but not bad either.

Very expensive, small portions. Compared to other restaurants like IHOP or Denny's where they serve generous portions and include all the ingredients, here at Hap's they overcharge you for every single ingredient in your dish, charging you separately without warning. I recommend going to better places where they value their customers and are more honest than this one.

Overpriced Disaster !!!! Don’t Go!!!!! 😱😳😬

Cold coffee ☕️, tiny portions, and food that tastes like nothing. Ordered a waffle 🧇 for $10 and had to pay extra for honey 🍯 and whipped cream 😳. Pancakes $12, strawberries 🍓 and cream extra $9 – seriously?! Staff didn’t even check if we needed more coffee. The place is old, the food is awful, and the prices are outrageous. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs! So dissatisfied and so disappointed ☹️
BIG MISTAKE!!!!!

Nothing beats a classic breakfast house that's been in business for over 44 years. We snuck in about a half hour before closing and received friendly and efficient service from Emma. Our meals were perfectly done and Julie's apple pie ala mode was as good as Alma's, who used to run an orchard and knows what she's doing. Will definitely return the next time we're in town, which hopefully will not be in January.

Unfunny, no frills diner in NW Edmonton. Very good value < $40 for my son and I. Staff were friendly and attentive. It's not fancy but it's good!

This place is bustling, and the staff are super friendly and quick! They’re always making sure you have coffee, water, and drinks. The food was fantastic—I had the hungriest breakfast, which included an omelette and a patty melt. Everything was excellent, except my patty melt didn’t quite live up to my expectations. It was basically just a slice of cheese on a patty. But, hey, technically, a patty melt should be more substantial, like a tuna melt. Other than that, everything was wonderful.
