Super yummy food and good German beers.
Hard to choose which schnitzel to get! So much choice. Food/beer was great. Fun to go with kids.
Can’t say enough good things about the food here. Excellent flavour, excellent portion sizes, excellent selection to choose from. Service was perfect for my style of dining out.
As a first time diner here, I was looking forward to experiencing the food and it did not disappoint in any way.
Will definitely be coming back and would strongly recommend to anyone thinking about coming here to eat.
Service was weak and unkempt, unprofessional as well. Food options were restricted for German cuisine. Baubeshmaus is better or barb and Ernies. Where's the spatzel
Excellent Schnitzel, great service
Great food nice people good beer
My daughter and I explored the German branches of my family tree with Schnitzel. Every meal comes with two salads for the health conscious. You get a starter salad and a side Cesar salad and then what you’re really here for the Schnitzel and I am sorry but if you choose fries here … dude, really?!? Get the house made croquettes or the German Potato Salad. The decor is German really German and a little small town diner. But the food? So good! Service is attentive but not hovering as it should be! My favourite: The Parson’s Schnitzel with the croquettes.
Went here recently on a friend’s recommendation, couldn’t have been more disappointed. Sat at 6:00, dinner didn’t hit the table until 7:55. My schnitzel had pieces of garlic butter that were frozen solid. The place wasn’t even busy, I truly don’t get what was going on there.
Edit to reply to the business:
I’m not the type of person to no-tip a server, even if the service is awful and takes ages. Our party sat at 6pm that night, and the receipt shows a paid time of 8:26. You can act shocked and say I’m lying, but the fact is, your restaurant was a terrible experience and we won’t be back.
A wonderful find it was a great place. The waitress was super friendly and yes, we’ll definitely return was awesome.
Awesome atmosphere great service beautiful waitress just an awesome little place i highly recommend it

Do you like Schnitzel? If you do, this place is an absolute must for you. They offer nearly 60 varieties of it. They also have several different sausage options. The resteraunt is cozy and has an engaging atmosphere. The service was personal, pleasant, and fun. My wife and I will definitely be returning.
A gem worth visiting. Firstly thank you Nicole for being accommodating.
The decor, the music, the hospitality spot on.
Do try the Falkenstein Schnitzel and pair it with a dark Erdinger and you’ll be a happy chappy. The potato croquettes are to die for.
I even had the Frikandel Sausage as take out for my midnight snack.
Next time I visit Edmonton I’m definitely coming back for more
You have to experience this place. Real schnitzel, over 300 types!
It's for sale, go soon before it's gone.
I spent 7 years living in lahr west Germany. So when i came to edmonton i decided to try a german resturant. Arrived without reservation. No one there, so seating was not an issue. Before the food qas ordered i asked how spicy it was and was told not very spicy. Just peppercorn spice. When food arrived it was very spicy. Almost caujan spicy not peppercorn spice. Now as i said i spent 7 years in germany and i know german food. When i inquired about it to server and she informed the owner. Cook came to table and proceeded to argue, raise her voice, being rude and started the eye rolling. After index finger pointing and pointing out her rude and unprofessional behaviour some discussion were made and she prepared another meal that was acceptable. Very unprofessional
I enjoy this place. I went to it once before when they were located in a small town in Alberta. Yes, the owners can be particular but so what. Learn to read and you will be good.
