Great neighborhood bar. Prices are good. Dont see phony 16 oz pint scams here. Real pints and fair prices

Came down from Northwestern Ontario and ended up here. Jordan was super friendly. Fantastic service, made us feel super welcome. Would definitely return :)

The new Hawkeyes but pricier and less tasty food and smaller menu. I had the New Brunswick Special pizza and it was mediocre.. Sorta disappointing :(

Emma, Tanner, and Jordan as well as the rest of the team seem very concerned with building their new business. I would highly recommend that any of the old Hawkeyes crowd come check out the new food menu. A nice place to watch the Oilers' game.

Great little pub - closest to an Irish bar we could find! Get Jordan to do his ‘movie voice’ - brilliant ? the lads are sound!

This is a great up-and-coming sports bar that deserves a visit. It's unpretentious, with a relaxed atmosphere and great music. The food is good (I recommend the Game Day Burger), but the pizzas are excellent! They also have arcade machines and pinball! This place is a wonderful addition to an area of downtown that is, sadly, in need of a lot of love. Please check them out, and give them a chance!

Great And welcoming staff, Smash burger was delicious (especially with some Frank's) and their in-house Tomato soup was ? Thanks!

Cold beer, great atmosphere, close to home and a few arcade games. What more could you want from a bar? Definitely gonna come back more often!

My review for Hawkeyes was a 5 star, however, The Gardens YEG is so-so. The Good: They have all the Oilers games playing with sound on and tonnes of TVs and the games they have are decent. The game day burger was excellent value and taste. Our server Liz was attentive and not overbearing. The Bad: The fries and our wings were terrible. Probably the most dried out wings I have ever had. It was fairly busy on an Oilers game night so we didn't even mention the wings to our server. Just probably only go back for the drinks and Oilers games. Review of Hawkeyes: Love this "hole in a wall"! Food is exceptionally inexpensive and fairly good. I recommend the Wor Wonton soup!

I had a fantastic experience, the staff were amazing, helpful and suggestive, for my first time eating there it was great. I tried the pizza bread, the small New Brunswick pizza, and a 6$ deal burger before the hockey game. it was great not to busy yet. but I'm sure they'll get there.

You are more likely to catch a disease than get a decent drink here, and I've partied in Surrey Bc and Madison Wisconsin.. two on the most dive places everGreat karaoke but very slow service... lack of knowledgeable staff as well as frequent bickering between employees.Dark atmosphere as well as no parking...If you're looking for a bar to get stabbed in, Hawkeyes is your place. Great for recovering drug addicts to find a date.. or relapse

This is the best little dive bar in Edmonton. My husband and I make a special trip there every time we go to the city. The staff are super friendly and the food is amazing, I especially recommend the pizza and wanton soup. Karaoke was a blast there as well! I always have a great time here.
