Nice space with lots of variety but I personally wouldn’t return here. Waited ~40 minutes for a vermicelli bowl and still got the wrong order in the end. Meat was super dry and flavourless, likely from being reheated… they seemed busy due to a nearby event but lack of friendly service was apparent and makes it a less desirable spot. There’s better Vietnamese places nearby in my opinion.

Came in on a Thursday after the lunch crowds left (almost 1 pm). Dishes were shrewd on many tables and we had to clean up our own table. That’s okay. Happens. Waited over twenty minutes for a rice dish and a pho bowl with a dead fly in it. When we told the server, he just took back the food without any comment. Pork tasted a bit off. And rare meat for the pho was super thick and microwaved. I’ve never had a negative experience with Viet food - service was always great and very quick at other places…this place is not one I’d return to. Gross.

Came in on a Wednesday evening and I was the only customer. Nice setting. Friendly service. Pork chops were generous portions and tasty. I would have liked a few more vegetables and less rice.

Had an order of their Tom Yum with chicken. One of the best soups I have had. Definitely impressed. 10/10 reccomend trying it.

Great at place for Vietnamese food! I hope more people come to this place. The decor is very relaxing here, very modern. We tried a Pho Dac Biet, Bun Bo Hue and a Shoyu Ramen. All very tasty. While the ramen wasn’t authentic Japanese ramen, it was still tasty. The portions are generous but if you’re super hungry order an appetizer too. Will be back again!

Unfortunately the pork dumplings were completely raw. Check your food, folks.

The Pho is good. If you are willing to wait 30-45 minutes in an almost empty restaurant for it.I have been here several times. Always before or after the main lunch rush. Service times seem to be getting worse. Today there was one couple in the restaurant when I arrived around 11:30am. It was 12:10 before I got my soup. How long does it take to microwave some broth and dump some precooked meat and veggies in it?Unless you plan for an hour long lunch I would recommend using Skip-the-dishes. This is the last time I will dine in here.

I've been to all of their previous locations. I hadn't been since before the pandemic. I will start off by saying the spring rolls are always 5/5 and the only reason I gave 2 stars. The pork in my vermicelli bowl tasted like the contents of the refrigerator. The Thai chicken noodle soup was without 1/2 of the volume I was accustomed to. In fact, it was more a bowl of noodles with broth than a soup. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I, too, had a very long wait, and I was visiting on an empty day. No personality, no interaction of any kind, and no thanks, or have a nice day. There wasn't anything welcoming about the vibe. The only time I will be catching them again might be at A Taste of Edmonton.

A beautiful new location - I used to get food at the original location and always LOVED it. Today (Saturday 1:30pm) I drove from SW to wait for what was said to be 10-15 was more like 25-30 (empty restaurant) but waiting was not the problem. The problem is the food was not comparable and my chicken is very dry. Price hike due to the economy ok, but half the spinach half the quality. Only one person in the whole place, I feel bad complaining but how to tip when you ring up first and then start prepping the meal? And did you just microwave all that rice? Gorgeous restaurant but not impressed after an hour of driving. Maybe dine in would have been better. Then again, the other reviews are pointing me away from a second chance.

We decided to try this restaurant while in downtown Edmonton. The restaurant is beautifully and uniquely decorated. We were promptly seated and had wonderful service throughout our visit. We ordered the chicken lemongrass satay in coconut sauce and shrimps in tamarind sauce. Both dishes were so flavourful!

I ordered through Uber Eats from Hoang Long twice in the last month. Both times they left out the sauces for the meals - the attention to detail terrible. They wouldn’t do anything to correct the mistake. I really liked HL but they just don’t care about the service they provide. I’m done w HL. Too bad.
