I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm and courteous service, especially Carlee, Jocelyn, and Swarnjit, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was handled with professionalism and a genuine smile.

The amenities at this hotel are top-notch. The rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the pool area was a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the city.

A standout feature of this hotel is the attached Evario Kitchen Restaurant. The food here is absolutely fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that cater to different tastes. The breakfast was fresh and energizing, and the dinner options were equally amazing. The restaurant staff were incredibly polite and attentive, ensuring that every meal was a wonderful experience.

Overall, this hotel offers outstanding service, excellent amenities, and a delightful dining experience at Evario Kitchen. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edmonton!

Great hotel on the South side of Edmonton. Kids were not a fan of the pool. However, if you're not there to swim, it's worth considering.

Went to the Evario Restaurant and Bar. Food was very good, but we were expecting a stand alone restaurant, not one in the lobby of a hotel.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful. I attended a family friend's wedding last month the banquet food was amazing all the staff at Evario was wonderful. As well, the breakfast buffet in the restaurant was amazing. The hotel room was very nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a family or friend for any who is look for a nice hotel to stay in. I would definitely stay in Holiday Inn Evario again.

We recently celebrated three events in Holiday Inn Edmonton South - Evario Events, as part of the wedding of our son. The engagement ceremony in April, a traditional South Indian wedding- with sacred fire & all, and an evening Reception + Civil Wedding Ceremony in July 2024. It was an absolute dream come true! From start to finish, the entire experience was flawless.

1. Exceptional Service: The staff at Evario Events went above and beyond to make both the days special. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about every detail. Special shout out to the sales team (Nikhil, Jasjeet & Maureen), and to the Operations team ( Vikas, Maruti, Anees , and their squad of ever smiling servers.)

2. Stunning Venue: The venue itself is breathtaking. Elegant decor, spacious halls, and beautiful lighting—it's the perfect canvas for any wedding theme. Our guests were in awe!

3. Delicious Catering: Evario Events also provided the catering. Chef Suman and his team (of Guru’s Restaurant) created magic with the menu. It was exactly as agreed during the food tastings. From appetizers to the main course and desserts, everything was delicious and beautifully presented.

4. Attention to Detail: The teams at Evario Events paid attention to every little detail. They worked closely with us to customize the menu and seating arrangements. They also went the extra mile to coordinate with the Decorators, Photographers and the DJ. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our events memorable.

5. Smooth Coordination: The team seamlessly coordinated the entire event. We didn't have to worry about a thing—they took care of setup, timing, and transitions flawlessly.

In summary, if you're looking for a wedding venue that combines elegance, excellent service, and mouthwatering catering, look no further than Evario Events- which is part of Holiday Inn Express at Ellerslie and Parsons Rd, Edmonton SW . Our guests are still raving about the memorable events of our son’s wedding, and we owe it all to the incredible team at a fantastic venue. This hotel is a very nice hotel. Came with my family and they all loved it. The staff was really nice and would definitely come again!! Thank you for the great service. The rooms were really nice and prepared. The staff that works in the laundry, special thanks to you guys because the bedding smelt really good. They were soo clean.

I want to note down the following experience:
We booked this hotel through Expedia. The pet fee at this hotel is really high. Generally, the fee at other hotels is $65, but this one is double that. This information didn't show up anywhere when we booked the hotel on Expedia; we only found out about it when we asked at the front desk. Before our trip, one of our pets got sick, and we tried to cancel before check-in. Normally, Expedia would send a form to the hotel and the hotel would issue a refund. However, the hotel staff, including the manager, kept saying that Expedia didn't send anything. I have all the records of conversations with Expedia and with the hotel staff. Just before check-in, they claimed that the manager wasn't there, which seemed like a lie, and they rejected the refund. To be honest, this hotel doesn't deserve three stars at all, have a three stars so they won't able to delete it. I've had good experiences with other Holiday Inns, but I'm just speechless about this one. I hope other people with pets or those who might need to cancel due to emergencies are aware of this issue.

I had a really bad experience with the hotel. They charged my card for miscellaneous expenses without informing me, and the total amount was almost twice what I expected to pay. I wasn't given the final bill when I checked out, and only received an invoice after I contacted them. The invoice stated that if I agreed and signed it, I would be charged. I will say it's a scam charging people without informing them.
