Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton South by IHG

Staff were very friendly. I didn’t need much of their attention or time but they were busy and helped everyone who came to them. Rooms were very clean. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was very good and the cooks were amazing and super friendly. Parking was decent. I have no complaints whatsoever and will definitely stay here and recommend anyone else to stay as well 😊

Abi was awesome, rooms a little dated but not bad.

We had a very memorable time at Holiday Inn Express & Suites for the few days we stayed there. Mach was very exceptional and service oriented . She was quite helpful and charming to both my mother in law and I during breakfast. We will definitely be staying there again . Thanks.

I had breakfast here for all three days of our stay with my 8-month-old baby, and Mach truly made the experience wonderful. She was always cheerful and friendly, immediately finding us a table and carefully cleaning a highchair each morning. She went out of her way to help me carry things and would even encourage me to stay seated with my baby while she gathered what we needed. Her kindness and attentiveness made me feel so supported, and it turned what could have been a stressful experience into something enjoyable.

Because of Mach, we’ll be sure to return. Thank you so much, Mach!! Molly already misses giggling and clapping with you! :)

On the first day of my stay, I showed up at the buffet breakfast and was greeted by Mach. The client service she provided was outstanding and above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced at a hotel breakfast.

Not only did she quickly find a table for me, but she also walked me through all the food options available and checked with me to make sure I had everything I needed.

Mach was constantly watching out for all the customers, anticipating what they might need. At some point I was standing in front of the pancake machine for not even 2 seconds before she came to me and took the time to explain how it works.

Usually I have to look for someone to help me and wait when I have questions. Mach was always around and ready to help.

When I was done and ready to go, she didn’t even leave me time to wonder where to dispose of my garbage, she was immediately ready to take care of it for me.

Mach is super nice and friendly and has a great sense of client service. I really wanted to take the time to acknowledge her outstanding work!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Edmonton, and I can't say enough about the breakfast experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and professional team. The staff, led by the incredible Abi, went above and beyond to make sure my morning was off to a great start.

The breakfast area itself was impeccably clean, and the service was prompt and helpful. Abi and his team were always available to assist with anything I needed, and their warm, welcoming demeanor made the start of each day a true delight. They were genuinely friendly and professional, making everyone feel right at home.

We were here for a sports event at the Ivor Dent Sports Park; the location is convenient with lots of groceries and restaurants nearby. The rooms were as expected, comfy beds and clean. The service was exceptional; from requesting and editing my block booking, to the use of the bfast area, to the friendly and helpful front desk and housekeeping staff this was one of our best team hotel experiences. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel for my friend’s wedding and stayed for 4 days. I have to say—I have nothing but good things to say about my experience!

It’s conveniently located not too far from Edmonton Airport, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Their breakfast selection was far better than the typical hotel breakfasts I’ve had in the past—lots of variety! Mach and Abi had amazing customers service always checking to see we were okay with our meal.

There’s also a pool and jacuzzi, which was a nice bonus. The rooms are a decent size, with all the essentials: TV, small fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. The bathroom had great water pressure too.

If I had to nitpick, an extra pillow would have been nice—but overall, I was very satisfied.

I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the southwest side of Edmonton!

The front desk staff friendly, helpful and took the time to answer my granddaughters questions

The room was clean and updated however the bathroom had no fan and could use an extra light

Hotel location was convenient

Whenever we come to Edmonton we always stay at this hotel. It’s very clean and bright. The rooms are fresh and the beds have the white top covers that get laundered after each stay.
The breakfast is great for families. There is a large variety of things to eat and things to take for on the go.
The breakfast ladies are so kind. We always have a brief conversation with them. Mach remembers is when we come and asks about our family. She is wonderful!
