Heard amazing things about this place. Went out of our way to go and check it out. Arrived, open sign on, music blaring and smelled delicious. Nobody around. See a cow bell that says to ring for service. Did that. Still nobody. Yelled hello into the container, no response. Did get a whiff of weed, so I assume someone was in fact somewhere around. No real point in being open on Saturdays if you aren’t there to sell anything. The only good thing I have to say, is that it smelled wonderful.

What a hidden gem to stumble upon!
After a round of golf, I was hoping to find a good lunch—and Honey did not disappoint. It’s tucked away so well that even with Google Maps, I couldn’t quite figure out where it was hiding. Turns out, it’s inside a gated compound. Luckily, my trusty nose caught the scent of the smoker, and I knew I was close!
Definitely worth a visit. Just be sure to check Google for the latest hours—she updates them frequently depending on what smoked meats are available.

I stopped by Honey's BBQ today after having seen someone raving about it on Instagram, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I ordered the brisket, baked beans, and coleslaw, and every item exceeded my expectations. The brisket was perfectly seasoned and so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The baked beans were rich and flavorful—some of the best I’ve ever had—and the coleslaw had just the right amount of tang, balancing the meal beautifully. Everything was incredibly fresh, making the meal even more enjoyable.
I also had the chance to meet Honey herself, and it’s clear that she has a genuine passion for serving her customers top-notch BBQ. Her dedication to quality shines through in every bite, and that's something rare these days. The only downside is that they’re only open for the season until October 18th, so you’ll want to get there before they close.
I’ve had BBQ all over the world, including years living in Texas, and I can confidently say this was among the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back!

We had Honey’s BBQ Wagon cater our wedding reception and it was nothing short of amazing. From the lights and music on the wagon, the wonderful gals serving, and the food was to die for!!! We had brisket, ribs, buns, potatoes casserole and beans. The wagon created the fun atmosphere we were looking for! We received so many compliments from guests on the food. Everyone was so full and happy! Thank you thank you!! Can’t wait to visit to get to enjoy more in the future and relive the amazing experience we had for our wedding
